Good to be back on South African soil. But I strongly disagree with many of the current government’s policies—particularly on foreign relations and domestic governance. The recently passed Expropriation Bill, which allows for land seizures without compensation, raises serious concerns about property rights, economic stability, and investor confidence—without offering real solutions or pathways to empowerment.  Meanwhile, corruption, crime, mismanagement, failing services, regular power outages and unemployment continue to devastate daily life. Yet it still feels good and grounding to be back in Johannesburg, where I grew up. Smiling because home still feels like home—even when it’s upsetting to see what’s happening here and because I’m still hopeful for a better South Africa for its incredible people. #SouthAfrica #Expropriation
