I discovered sophisticated scraping bots on my website. I used my brain to understand the meaning of it, identifying that "OpenAI" is stealing my content and IP of everyone in order to train the "frontier" to sell it back to me. What a relief, I thought they had ill intentions!
We discovered a sophisticated recording device that was hidden inside one of our offices. We used our models to understand the device and where it had come from, identifying that a specific employee had planted it a few days earlier. We referred the matter to the FBI, and we’re grateful to the agents and prosecutors who moved quickly to make an arrest. The FBI’s investigation is ongoing and we will continue to support their work. At this time, we have no indications of this individual inappropriately accessing or exfiltrating model weights, source code, or customer data. The employee was terminated. We take protecting our technology, data, and people seriously, and as a matter of national importance. Our security program is designed to protect against a wide range of threat actors, from insider risks to cybercriminals to nation states, and this case is an example of how AI can help address these sophisticated security threats.

Released an alpha of my Windows time travel debugger for all people on discord. Features: - Really low recording overhead: ~4x. WinDbg is >40x - Analyze recordings in raddbg with dissasembly, source stepping, breakpoints - More to come! Join to get alpha: wintrace.io

And now I implemented forwards source stepping too (uses raddbg implementation so stepping behaves the same as in live process). I also started releasing public alpha builds to people that are interested. If you'd like to test, join the discord linked at wintrace.io

My Time Travel Debugging for Windows project has a website now: wintrace.io Since last post I implemented breakpoint support & more step controls in the replay engine and I am now using it to debug itself and solve issues much faster than before.

Posted a more lengthy demo of Wintrace which shows recording performance and replay functionality. youtube.com/watch?v=IumGevTu…

Now added basic time travel into my process execution replay engine: step forward or backward in the recording, jump into a specific position, inspect entire process state like locals, callstacks and thread state with little latency.

My new project: high performance record & replay for games and everything else on Windows. Record once to a file, replay as many times as you want later. Replay engine integrated with raddbg because that was the fastest to implement.

Landed in the newest update: change values in VS and immediately see what that change will do to the code execution. Great for testing algorithm output based on input values and testing black box functions. Get it: marketplace.visualstudio.com…

One of the best features I implemented in this extension.
Predictive debugging in Visual Studio available now. See what's ahead and step into functions you care about without stepping through intermediate code. Get it: d-0.dev

Perfect example of how you can easily make $ by ignoring morales and selling products whose core value is to deceive. Next, I suggest selling game cheats to show those evil game companies who's boss. Doesn't matter you're ruining gameplay for others, you're still getting the bag!
just wrapped up month 2 at $228.5k revenue from @InterviewCoder, with $224k in profit; here's some figures and thoughts: 94% of revenue is from monthly subscriptions ($60/month), and monthly churn is sitting at around 35%. our profit margins are around 99%; the only real costs are coming from our monthly vercel bill (~$3,000). API costs are zero considering we limit users to 50 requests a month and we're still using random free credits. all growth thus far has been pretty much completely organic. we've spent $500 on Reddit ads, but are going to start looking into rev ops + paid ads. Interview Coder is just the start. This is a single, tiny vertical that this technology has tapped into, but this specific UX has a much broader consumer use case. My life has changed very drastically these last two months. I'm not sure that I'll ever post as transparent an update as this again, but my intention is to inspire other young people to swing big. The golden age of building is NOW, and NOTHING is saturated. There is billions of dollars in delta from GPT wrappers and products that you can build in days/weeks if you just market it correctly. As a young person, your viral intuitions are better than anyone else's and in this age where building is this fucking easy, THAT is the most valuable skill in the world right now. Take bigger risks; you will look back in 10 years and regret not taking advantage of the fucking gold rush of opportunity sitting in front of you.

Next up: no need to step step step because the extension already predicted what will happen next. Stepping through a deep call chain just to get to a specific function? Just open the callstack list next to the caller and choose where you want to step into. Available soon.

Here's how to get active window on different platforms: 1. Windows: GetForegroundWindow() 2. Wayland on Linux: here's 10 different DE-specific hacks you can try using (none work anymore). On GNOME, the only way is to install a shell extension (!) just to have some APIs exposed.

Tweet comes from having to fix existing feature in Linux app for a client. There's no standard way to do it anymore and the general explanation for why is "security". Not a problem, but instead of removing everything outright, please provide standardized way of requesting access.
