The Okpi festival in Aba did not host a campaign; it hosted a public flogging of a man who mistook borrowed power for his own.
Ben Kalu arrived with Tinubu’s empty mandate song in his mouth and left with the taste of dust. Before he could even clear his throat, the people answered him with one name: Obi. He tried to force the band to drown them out with “On Your Mandate We Shall Stand.” The crowd only grew louder, the band itself turned against him, and the song died in his mouth like a lie that no longer has witnesses.
He who brings ant-infested firewood into the people’s compound must not complain when the lizards come. A deputy speaker who cannot command even a festival crowd is no more than a head of household who still wets the mat at night. He walked out with head bowed and tail tucked, the people’s chant still chasing him like a debt he cannot pay.

A few weeks after breast surgery, she was walking through a shopping center in Miami when a car stopped next to her. The window rolled down, someone told her she was gorgeous and handed her a card, and asked if she wanted to model. She went home, googled the company, and found out it made porn.
Mia Khalifa was born in Lebanon and moved to the US when she was about 10. Two weeks after she started school, 9/11 happened, and her classmates started calling her “the terrorist.” In college her weight dropped to 98 pounds. She says she grew up never feeling pretty and craved male attention.

In the same interview she says she still hates leaving the house. When fans ask for a photo and thank her for her “work,” it makes her feel dirty.
She also admits she kept the link in her bio after she quit, because she needed the money. Asked what she’d tell young girls, her first answer is “Don’t do porn. Don’t ever do porn.”
Three years later she was back, selling adult content to subscribers.
So was she a victim of her own fame, or did she learn to sell it better than anyone?

"This is one of the most unpatriotic statements I have ever heard in my life. If you understand what this man said here, then you will understand how disturbing it is to have people with this type of mindset run our government.
What he said outrightly here is that they at ACN (now APC) knew that Jonathan's government was doing well. They knew that the policy he was trying to implement was very good for Nigeria and Nigerians but because they didn't want him to succeed they lied to Nigerians about the policy. We knew that Jonathan was right but because we wanted to take power, we found a way to condemn what he was doing and even deceived Nigerians to come out and protest against it. Simply put, what this man is saying here is that they knew Nigeria was heading to a good direction but they disrupted it for their own selfish reasons. What it means is that these guys don't mind putting Nigeria in a bad condition just so they can get power.
This is so serious and so disturbing. He is actually saying that all the protests they organised against Jonathan were fake and NEVER about the interest of Nigeria or Nigerians but just for them to grab power. Now I understand why Peter Obi would always say, that he won't be in any coalition just for the sake of grabbing power.
This statement from this man shows you that the people in power right now don't give a damn about Nigerians. Now you understand why they implement these harsh policies since 2015. Now you understand why they live in plenty while Nigerians are becoming poorer by the day.
Now you understand why APC has thrown over hundred million Nigerians into poverty. It's simple. They don't care. Everything is politics for them. They play politics with people's lives. Very dangerous and very pathetic. God forbid.
Dear Nigerians, this man has told us plainly that APC is not in power for you but for themselves.
We must do something about it in 2027."

A woman shared that her husband had an affair with a younger woman he met on Reddit while she was pregnant. According to her account, the affair continued even after she gave birth.
She said he spent money on the other woman, including gifts, hotel stays, meals, and cash. By the time he ended the affair, the damage to their marriage had already been done.
He wanted to reconcile, but she wasn't convinced that he was truly remorseful. She turned to Reddit to ask people who had survived infidelity what had helped them decide whether to stay or leave.
The question: Could you forgive a partner who cheated on you while you were pregnant?
