I've never had a successfull SaaS, only services, but since Opus 5.5 I've got my first real software off the ground $266 the first month, $1.6k this month, on track for $2.6k by month's end. I was able to really quickly test a few bold offers that I hadn't seen elsewhere in SaaS, hone in, and go much faster than a sales guy like me should be able to go. And since I couldn't win the saas game for so long, I spent that time in cold email, which has been the only way I've grown here. But even better, now I can do things like SEO that I never had time to learn. Even though this thing is like 6 weeks old, I already got backlinked in a newsletter and in a linkedin article with someone just randomly finding me. It's built around cold email, which has a bunch of secret sauce in it (it's art just as much as science) so I feel good about it being defensible. But what I love is that now I can go test the next idea while giving this one a bit of attention daily. I was never able to do that before!
