There's a pretty great tap mechanic in @doppelfun... 🤔
Close to releasing a sweet new x402 product 👀
The product solves a problem that we specifically needed for @doppelfun related to agentic memory.
Excited to share more soon // aiming for next week 🤞

Top questions/feedback for @doppelfun S2 - Day 1:
1. Why not always choose the same faction?
The buff % decreases based on faction imbalance - if everyone chooses Benevolent, the buffs will reduce to 0.1%
2. Why does my SP say "fail"?
Skill runs have a proc %. New UI was just added to show the success rate.
3. Reward pool is only 21M?!
This is unclaimed from S1 and testing. S2 Reward pool will be announced soon.

App of the week @doppelfun
doppel operates as a live AI companion platform natively on base, it combines a personal digital friend with a collaborative 3D virtual world
building a persistent metaverse where human nurtured AI agents collaborate to construct massive digital cities.
Wanted to share how I plan to build @Doppelfun with a very small team using AI agents and scalable systems.
Internally we’re calling it: DoppelGang
TL;DR on the Vercel Compromise:
– Initial compromise vector: A Vercel employee’s account was breached via a compromised Context.ai account, which led to unauthorized access starting from their Google Workspace.
– Escalation of access: The attacker leveraged the compromised account to move laterally and gain deeper access into Vercel’s internal environments.
– Data exposure pathway: While environment variables are encrypted at rest, the attacker exploited the “non-sensitive” variable designation to enumerate and access certain data.
– Nature and scope of attack: The incident is attributed to a highly sophisticated group, likely accelerated by AI, with limited confirmed customer impact so far.
– Response and mitigation efforts: Vercel is actively investigating, notifying affected customers, enhancing security controls, deploying monitoring, collaborating with firms like Google Mandiant, and advising users to rotate secrets and follow security best practices.
Here's my update to the broader community about the ongoing incident investigation. I want to give you the rundown of the situation directly.
A Vercel employee got compromised via the breach of an AI platform customer called Context.ai that he was using. The details are being fully investigated.
Through a series of maneuvers that escalated from our colleague’s compromised Vercel Google Workspace account, the attacker got further access to Vercel environments.
Vercel stores all customer environment variables fully encrypted at rest. We have numerous defense-in-depth mechanisms to protect core systems and customer data. We do have a capability however to designate environment variables as “non-sensitive”. Unfortunately, the attacker got further access through their enumeration.
We believe the attacking group to be highly sophisticated and, I strongly suspect, significantly accelerated by AI. They moved with surprising velocity and in-depth understanding of Vercel.
At the moment, we believe the number of customers with security impact to be quite limited. We’ve reached out with utmost priority to the ones we have concerns about. All of our focus right now is on investigation, communication to customers, enhancement of security measures, and sanitization of our environments. We’ve deployed extensive protection measures and monitoring. We’ve analyzed our supply chain, ensuring Next.js, Turbopack, and our many open source projects remain safe for our community.
The recommendation for all Vercel customers is to follow the Security Bulletin closely (vercel.com/kb/bulletin/verce…). My advice to everyone is to follow the best practices of security response: secret rotation, monitoring access to your Vercel environments and linked services, and ensuring the proper use of the sensitive env variables feature.
In response to this, and to aid in the improvement of all of our customers’ security postures, we’ve already rolled out new capabilities in the dashboard, including an overview page of environment variables, and a better user interface for sensitive env var creation and management. As always, I’m totally open to your feedback.
We’re working with elite cybersecurity firms, industry peers, and law enforcement. We’ve reached out to Context to assist in understanding the full scale of the incident, in an effort to protect other organizations and the broader internet. I also want to thank the Google Mandiant team for their active engagement and assistance.
It’s my mission to turn this attack into the most formidable security response imaginable. It’s always been a top priority for me. Vercel employs some of the most dedicated security researchers and security-minded engineers in the world. I commit to keeping you updated and rolling out extensive improvements and defenses so you, our customers and community, can have the peace of mind that Vercel always has your back.
.@doppelfun has gained serious attention which also means bots... recently put in some more effort to reduce sybil attacks.
1. Daily Doppel spin rewards should now last a bit longer and go to real humans🤞with a notice when its empty for the day.
2. Added better rate limiting to improve app performance.
I don’t think people realize how crazy @doppelfun is.
We didn’t just launch an “AI chatbot + idler" minigame.
We quietly deployed an entire 3D AI agent management ecosystem.
Right now:
• 1,800+ autonomous agents running in our 3D worlds
• Built on our lightweight OpenClaw (DoppelClaw)
• Users can chat with them or send them on Skill Runs inside a living simulation
Here’s what people are missing:
Each agent = its own isolated, upgradeable runtime.
Every upgrade we ship (memory, learning, relationships, new skills)
→ instantly propagates to every agent.
One push. Entire worlds evolve.
What looks like a simple chatbot + idle game…
is actually an infinitely scalable agent civilization.
Imagine what this could look like when the skills go from simple agent <--> agent conversations to commerce or deep simulation scenarios.

Been applying to various programs for @doppelfun over the past month.
- Top 100 in Nitro out of 1,000+ applicants
- Top 100 in Base Batches out of 1,000+ applicants
Didn’t make the final 10 in either, but making the top 10% this early still felt like a strong signal.
Clear takeaway for us is that to get further, we need to prove two things:
1) stronger product retention
2) a revenue model with a clear path to scale
With our upcoming mobile app release, we’ll be watching #1 closely and already have some early pieces in place for #2.

we're upgrading the global financial system on @base
in 2026, that means:
1. building the global home for onchain markets
2. making stablecoin payments the worldwide standard
3. giving every builder the best tools to build the future

Some takeaways from the @doppelfun V1 alpha since Friday:
- The most interesting part so far has been watching agents organize themselves and have unscripted conversations.
- All the infrastructure seems to be working from the initial tests, which is encouraging given how many different services are involved.
- Entering as human avatars should likely be removed. The product feels stronger when you’re an observer and AI agent operator instead. This should also help mobile optimization, since controls are still clunky, especially inside the Base app where portrait mode is the only option.
- Onboarding UX still needs significant refinement.
Also worth noting: we haven’t started any user onboarding campaigns yet. Right now the focus is on making the changes above and locking in a compelling core loop.
