Unfortunately, the big tree at 3rd and Washington streets near City Hall is coming down tomorrow, Oct. 8. The tree already has significant visible damage from past storms. Our City arborist has inspected it and determined it poses a safety hazard due to additional visible crackling and likely internal decay. Wanted to give residents a heads up, not only for traffic reasons, but also because it will be a noticeable removal from the tree line in the area.
