Today, being June 1st, marks the beginning of Pride Month. Pride is held in June to honor the memory of the 1969 Stonewall Riots. Stonewall was not the first time LGBTQ people rioted against the police. Riots at Compton's Cafeteria and the Black Cat happened before Stonewall.

This plot is a great reminder of the need for careful analysis and broad perspective when addressing policy-relevant issues. Causal inference in policy contexts is complex; good analysis of pollution, to inform better decisions, requires considering the whole system.
