His name was George Floyd... Perry Jr. is what they called him... His death was not in vain. It sparked a movement and the reverberations of that hope and change can still be felt today. Rest In Power #GeorgeFloyd #georgefloydanniversary #GeorgeFloydday #GeorgeFloydRewind

It's a low bar but we have the ability make it responsibly higher.

A quote from @dr_stackhouse that will stay with me for a long time to come: "Why would there be such a great sense of relief for something that should have been a given? The bar for accountability and justice is so low."

#MLK believed that differences in our communities don't make our nation weaker, but help make our nation stronger. Thanks @SklarBrothers for being friends. Different communities. Different coasts. Different faiths. Same heart for people.

This is our buddy @dr_stackhouse. In the spirit of #MLK , he fights daily for unity and equality for all peoples. But his gestures of friendship (calling to check in regularly) have shown us the importance of connecting communities and being good allies in this fight. Thnx Stack

Last week I introduced you all to Fayetteville native Gertrude Stackhouse, 102, who voted for the first time ever. Viewers wanted to know what took so long to vote. At 6: why the granddaughter of runaway slaves waited all these years and how that moment inspired others. #abc11

I'm so proud of my grandmother! She is 102, barely mobile, and blind but she voted anyway. VOTE! #Vote2020 #GOTV #GoVote 'Thankful to be alive': 102-year-old Fayetteville woman votes for the first time in her life in 2020 election abc11.com/society/102-year-o… via @ABC11_WTVD
