@readwise We really need to be able to save images as free input to Readwise on any platform including web. Having text only is a terrible limitation if one wants to be able to save anything one encounters in Readwise!

Speaking of which, where to images sent to Readwise from the iOS share extension (from Photos, for example) show up in Readwise? I don’t know how to find them either with search or dashboard…

If you're stil rationalizing being here, note that the current owner is not only burning this place down, he's locking the fire exits so you can't escape.

To celebrate the coming release of her song "Mathemartics"*, @littlespiral is letting anyone come free to this month's Concerts for Introverts virtual show: follow this link (which explains you need to use the code FIRSTTIMER) facebook.com/events/12512584…

@OneNoteEDU Mac Version 16.60 (22031600) still has the long delay when pasting text that was copied from OneNote [and presumably will still fail pasting sometimes as has happened since this began] :( :(

It's fixed in beta version 16.60 (22032100)! Thank you! 🥳 HOWEVER, sometimes I'm still getting the "paste failed" message. This may happen more to me because I use Typinator for many words/phrases, which pastes text to insert it. I hope this can be fixed as well!
Amazon avoided about $5,200,000,000 in corporate federal income taxes in 2021. The real freeloaders in this country are corporations, not the poor.

Per @Camtasia support re ability to use hotkey to add marker during video recording on the Mac (already can on Windows): just "there are no plans to add this feature," despite my saying preventing switch from @Screenflow! Low Mac devel priority, @Techsmith?

Sure, the GOP is “the party of parents” except for opposing health care, child care, parental leave, elder care, middle-class tax relief, housing assistance, and any other *actually* parent-friendly policy….
On Wednesday, the Republican Study Committee put out a memo saying that "Republicans can and must become the party of parents." politico.com/f/?id=0000017c-… By Thursday, top Republicans were falling in line.

I need someone to explain to me why 41 Senate Republicans, representing just 21% of the population, can block voting rights legislation supported by 70% of Americans. Explain it to me like I’m in kindergarten.

You know what’s more radical than abolishing the filibuster? Watching 19 states pass voter suppression laws and doing absolutely nothing to stop it.

@NotionHQ Are you guys relatively soon going to allow setting font size on text and defining size/color of at least the header styles ? I am waiting for this b/f moving I teaching materials for medical students and residents to Notion! Really looking forward to it!

Argh, I forgot about the lack of text tables (database tables are cool, but most users are more likely to want to be able to present rich continent in “simple“ tables). This actually is the number one priority for me switching from Evernote!
By the way, I mean text size on at LEAST the block level, but ideally able to set the size of any string of text (and even more ideally, setting the size/color of H1, etc 🙏).
Shouldn’t “Just say the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me” trigger 14th amendment section 3, which bars anyone from holding office who “engaged in insurrection” against the US.?

A lot of people still express skepticism about whether Russia’s 2016 disinformation campaign could have actually changed voter behavior, and I would just like you to look at our pathetically low vaccination rate if you still don’t think disinformation can affect behavior.

Free speech for thee but not for me. I guess Facebook thinks the first amendment only applies to leftists.
