I don’t know why I feel like saying this, and I’ll probably delete it, but I’ll just say it: Gadi Eisenkot seeking to become Israeli prime minister through an alliance with parties that refuse to call Hamas a terrorist organization is a disgrace. It is sickening. It is one of the most shameless things I have heard of in any political campaign, in any country, ever.

Mahmoud Khalil was spotted at Abdul El-Sayed’s election party in Michigan. Muslims are literally laughing at how easy it was to manipulate Democrats.

JUST IN: In a Muslim Brotherhood-style election fraud incident, a poll worker in Dearborn, Michigan, speaking in Arabic, tells an undercover reporter that he can vote in a U.S. Senate election despite saying he is not a U.S. citizen. “Only for U.S. President can’t you vote, but for the others, you can.” Under 18 U.S.C. § 611, noncitizens are prohibited from voting in federal elections, including U.S. Senate races, subject to narrow exceptions.

Two rescuers spotted a freezing woman at 3:30 in the morning, 400 feet below them on a Colorado mountain. Then they sat there for two hours and watched her struggle. That's probably the reason she's alive. It started Thursday night with one text to 911. "Please help me." She was 37, hiking the Four Pass Loop near Aspen by herself, and stuck in hip-deep snow just under Frigid Air Pass at around 12,400 feet. She'd told a family member her phone was down to 10%. After that text, nothing. Rescuers had a single GPS coordinate and no idea if she was still on her feet. A medical helicopter found her around 11 p.m., one headlamp still moving through the snow. It couldn't land. Most people don't realize how hard that is. At 12,000 feet the air is about 30% thinner than at sea level, so the rotor has less air to grab and the engine has less oxygen to burn. You lose power right when you need it most, and trying to set down on a slope you can't see at night is how helicopter crews get killed. The pilot turned around. So five volunteers from Crested Butte Search and Rescue started walking. They left the trailhead at 11:30 p.m. with temps dropping into the teens and a Starlink dish in the pack. Radios in the mountains only work when nothing is in the way, and one ridge between you and base can cut you off completely. With Starlink, the coordinator back at base could talk to them the whole night. At 3:30, two of them reached the top of the pass and saw her below. They were looking down a steep slope with up to four feet of snow on it, in the dark, with real avalanche danger. If that slope let go with two of them on it, she'd have three people needing a rescue instead of one. So they held. For two hours they sat up there watching her and waiting for the other three to catch up, so there'd be enough hands to do it safely. Their report says it wasn't an easy decision. I honestly can't imagine sitting there. They reached her at 6 a.m. She couldn't walk, and she had serious cold injuries with signs of hypothermia. They zipped her into a bivy to hold in her body heat, but dragging someone who can't walk back up 400 feet of deep snow wasn't going to happen. So they called the National Guard. A Black Hawk came over from Gypsum with Vail Mountain Rescue hoist specialists on board. It held a hover in that same thin air that turned the first helicopter around, lowered a line, and winched her straight up at 9:15 a.m. By 10:05 she was on another medical helicopter headed for the burn and frostbite center in Aurora. Then the Black Hawk went back up twice for the volunteers. Two of them were still sitting in avalanche terrain. Everyone was back at the trailhead by 10:24, more than 14 hours after that one text. She owes her life to a phone that got one message out on 10% battery and to five unpaid volunteers who walked all night to reach a stranger. Two of them had the nerve to sit still when every instinct was telling them to go.
Starlink helped save a woman stranded in Colorado’s freezing mountains. A 37-year-old hiker was trapped in deep snow, unable to walk and suffering from cold injuries. With no mobile phone signal, rescuers used Starlink to stay connected to their coordinator throughout the night. She was rescued by helicopter and flown to hospital the next morning. A lifeline from space helped rescuers bring her to safety.

Start-up founder Adam Robinson, who passed away in the Florida plane crash, wasn’t a programmer. He was a credit default swap trader at Lehman Brothers. If you remember 2008, you know how that story ended. When Lehman collapsed, Adam didn’t go back to Wall Street. He jumped into tech with no background. With a few co-founders, he started Robly, an email marketing company, in one of the oldest and most crowded spaces in software. He got no big funding, no big investor, just the mind of a storyteller. Robly grew to about $5 million in revenue. Then something interesting happened. One small feature inside Robly, a tool that helped businesses identify visitors on their websites, started getting more attention than the main product. So he spun it out. It became GetEmails, later renamed Retention.com, and launched in November 2019. Robly sold for eight figures. And Retention.com grew to over $20 million a year in revenue with around six employees, without raising a single dollar. Then he did it again. He used Retention’s cash to build RB2B, which hit $4 million in annual revenue in record time. His secret weapon wasn’t code. It was honesty. While everyone else on LinkedIn posted success stories, Adam posted the ugly parts: the mistakes, the real numbers, the struggles. People trusted him because he didn’t pretend to be who he wasn't. Engineers might look at what he built and say there’s nothing technically impressive about it. Maybe. But he shipped, he sold, and he built three companies from nothing. On Sunday, he was flying to the Bahamas with his wife, Helen, their two little kids, and close friends. He was 44. Rest in peace, Adam.

I'm a cardiologist. Back against the kitchen wall, knees bent, two minutes. Rest. Four times. In a 100-person randomized trial, doing that 3 days a week for 4 weeks lowered systolic pressure about 9 points more than in people who didn't. Save this one.
Four weeks of wall squats reduced systolic blood pressure by nearly 10 points in adults with high blood pressure. Researchers then compared continuing three sessions weekly with reducing to two, one, or none for another month. Systolic pressure remained roughly 7 mmHg below starting levels in the once- and twice-weekly groups. Continuing three sessions weekly produced the greatest reduction of about 14 mmHg. In those who stopped completely, blood pressure moved back toward baseline. This fits with a previous analysis of randomized trials that identified isometric exercise, which involves holding a muscle contraction, as an effective way to lower resting blood pressure. What interests me is the practical question - how much of an exercise benefit can we preserve when we temporarily have less time? This study suggests that reducing the frequency can retain part of the benefit for up to a month.

🚨#BREAKING: Outrage is erupting from parents in Maine after public schools are now RECONSIDERING allowing kids to READ WITH FOSTER DOGS... ...over the RELIGIOUS BELIEFS of Muslims who believe dogs are "unclean" Yes, a program where kids sit with puppies and read books is now being reviewed because of Islam. It started at Ocean Avenue Elementary. Students were offered the chance to step into a play pen and read alongside foster dogs. The thought was simple: the kids get to snuggle dogs and the foster dogs... but then came a Portland school committee meeting. Assistant Superintendent Dr. "Abdullahi Ahmed" raised how dogs are viewed in the Islamic faith. His words: “The dog saliva is considered impure.” Now the board is writing new policy language built around RELIGIOUS AND CULTURAL considerations that could keep dogs out of the classroom all together. This is insane. WHAT ARE WE DOING HERE?!!!!!!!!

Children with medulloblastoma, one of the most common malignant brain tumors in kids, usually get radiation to the whole brain and spine. It saves lives, and it can also leave lasting damage to learning and development. Today doctors choose the dose by placing each child in a broad risk group. A team led by Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston just published an AI model in Nature Genetics that gets much more precise. It is called MANTIS. It reads DNA methylation profiles, a tumor test hospitals already run to diagnose these cancers, and estimates how each child's survival odds change over time. Across several large validation cohorts it beat current risk-prediction methods for many patients, and the team extended it to ependymoma, another childhood brain tumor. The part that stayed with me: when they modeled different radiation doses, MANTIS suggested that more than half of children with average-risk medulloblastoma may be candidates for lower-dose craniospinal radiation. In the data, lower doses went with better cognitive outcomes, and no significant survival disadvantage was detected. It still needs clinical study before it changes care. Credit to senior author Volker Hovestadt, a computational biologist at Dana-Farber, and first author Sabina Stefan. I'm a father, and I can't imagine sitting with a doctor deciding how much radiation goes into my child's brain. At Certuma we build medical AI around the same idea: decisions fitted to the individual patient, with every step traceable so doctors can check it. AI is starting to give each child the treatment that fits their own tumor.
