St Georges Dragons

Dare to be Brave. St George's Dragons samba inspired video. Happy St George's day everyone. Missing our no.5 but got some cool ideas for our next vid with him

Real derby feel to today's game against our mates Netherton Phoneix. A real battle with both sides having their chances and showing their quality, ours shining through in the end. Couldnt be prouder of the lads all over the pitch, up the Dragons 🐲🐉

Everything but the goal 🙈 Not quite at our best in the first half, a competitive back and forth seen our opponents take their 2 chances while we squandered ours. The 2nd half we clicked, looking more like an attack v defense drill, our opponents hung on for the win

Wishing a (belated) 🎉🎊Happy Birthday🎊🎉 to our machine in the middle Jake. Capbable of covering every inch of the pitch, he has the ability to pick out the perfect pass but also likes to find space and drive at full backs. Hope you had a boss day mate 🥳

Good game this morning down at buckley hill. 2 contrasting styles, a game that ebbed and flowed with both sides having their moments, some great goals, saves and footballing moments. The points shared, we move on to next week

Wishing a 🎊🎉Happy Birthday🎉🎊 to our defensive maestro Ollie. As complete of a defender your likely to find, hes never met a tackle or a header he hasnt won. Hope you have a boss day mate 👍

Great having lads back from injury and having 2 new signings make their debut. Not at our best, we still had enough to run out comfortable winners and score some fantastic goals. Up The Dragons 🐉🐲

Great game today, horrendous conditions that both sides had to contend with but it didnt ruin an intriguing contest. Keeping the ball on the floor, we played some great football and were good value for our lead before conceding a very late equaliser. Up The Dragons 🐲🐉

For hopefully the last time this season, we entered a game with 10 and finished with 8. Still to have a last kick of the game winner incorrectly ruled out, tells the story of how well these lads played. We take the point and move on, up the Dragons 🐲🐉

Some great football today mixed with some lapses in concentration, seems to be the story of our season 😂 good value for our win, we need to tighten up our little lapses as they might come back to haunt us in the future. We're exciting to watch though, never a dull game 😂

Wishing a 🎊🎉Happy Birthday🎉🎊 to our powerhouse Ed. A prodigious rugby player, he brings his power and strength as well as a great footballing iq to our defense whenever we're lucky enough to pry him away from his rugby side. Have a boss day mate

Wishing a 🎊🎉Happy Birthday🎉🎊 to our underrated star Owen. A 10 out of 10 in most categories, he goes about his business quietly, no matter where hes playing. Pace, technical ability, aggression, attacking or defending you know exactly what to expect. Have a boss day mate

Not to make excuses but its always tough when you have 6 players missing, having to play with 10 which includes an injured keeper. But our attitudes wernt great today, too much sulking and a lack of effort. Luckily we still played enough good football to comfortably win 🐉🐲

A heavy pitch and a bit of naivety cost us today. It was tough to play football with the grass up to pur ankles and the difference in size and strength played a part today. We're still loving the challenge and we'll still always play football our way. Up the Dragons 🐲🐉

Wishing a 🎊🎉Happy Birthday🎉🎊 to our rolls royce of a cb Tyler. Physically imposing, he is as dominating on the pitch as he is quiet off it, a top lad that we're made up has joined us this season. Have a boss day mate

Wishing a 🎊🎉Happy Birthday🎉🎊 to our energetic superstar Harry. Whether in the boxing ring or on the right flank, he has endless energy and the quality to match. Have a boss day mate

Intriguing battle of styles today, both sides having to contend with a terrible wind. Both teams had their moments, both probably feel aggrieved with the result, usually the way with a top of the table clash finishing in a draw. Good character shown by the lads though 👏

Despite a bit if naivety in our game management, we played some outstanding football today and were good value for our win. Cruising to an early lead, we were almost pegged back on 2 different occasions but showed enough quality to keep extending our lead, Up The Dragons 🐉🐲

Wishing a 🎊🎉Happy Birthday🎉🎊 to our phenomenal forward JoJo. Operating in the space between the lines, he glides with the ball, is always on the front foot and and has a wand of a left foot. Have a boss day mate

Wishing a 🎊🎉Happy Birthday🎉🎊 to the Rolls Royce Deacon. A unicorn in football, a classy left footed cb that wins every header, he dominates games and helps us build our performances off a solid defense. Have a boss day mate

Wishing a 🎊🎉Happy Birthday🎉🎊 to the ginger Alisson Jude. Our captain, he leads by example with his performances and has been a massive player for us since day 1. Have a boss day mate
