A ground for the game. A space for our youth to grow.
The futsal ground at Narayan Nagar is more than just a place to play - it is a space where young people can come together, build friendships, develop their skills and channel their energy into sports.
Hear directly from our youth as they share their experiences and what this facility means to them. Their voices reflect the importance of creating opportunities for young talent and building a healthier, more active community.
A foundation stone was laid for the construction of a new road connecting the house of Sanjay Sawant to the house of Sugandh Vasudev Sawant, linking up to POR 74 at Koparde, with an investment of ₹55 lakh.
For residents who depend on this stretch for their daily travel, improved road connectivity will mean greater convenience, safer movement and more reliable access throughout the year, especially during the monsoon. The project includes a strengthened laterite road surface, retaining and toe walls to stabilise the slopes, and cross-drainage structures to manage rainwater and reduce road damage.
Beyond improving the road itself, this work will address practical challenges faced by the local community, helping minimise travel difficulties and strengthening connectivity for residents and vehicles.
With continued support for rural infrastructure, we move towards addressing local needs through development that makes a tangible difference in people's everyday lives.
A few moments from the ground, capturing the warmth of familiar faces, shared conversations and everyday interactions with the people of Poriem and Sattari.
It is these simple, genuine moments that reflect the spirit of our communities and the relationships built over time.

Thank you, Shri @NitinNabin ji, for your kind words and encouragement in recognising Goa’s rich tribal heritage. ‘Forest Recipes of Goa’ is a heartfelt effort to document and preserve the age-old culinary traditions and indigenous knowledge of our tribal forest communities.

A foundation stone was laid for the improvement of the existing road from Gokuldas Gawas’ house to Tukaram Gawas’ house at Zarme, with an investment of ₹1 crore.
The project will upgrade the existing kaccha road through slope correction, a strengthened laterite stone surface and the construction of PCC and RCC retaining walls to stabilise the adjoining embankment and prevent soil erosion. These essential improvements will help address monsoon-related risks, enhance road safety and ensure more reliable, all-weather connectivity for the local community.
Sincere thanks to the BJP-led Government and the Public Works Department (PWD) for their continued commitment to strengthening rural infrastructure and ensuring safer, more reliable connectivity for our villages. With sustained support and focused efforts, we continue to turn local needs into meaningful development on the ground.
