An excellent piece on the work of @profhelenward @ProfSophieDay Prof Sarah Fidler, Prof Simon Gregson, Prof Graham Taylor and Prof Tim Hallett from @ImperialSPH @ImperialInfect @MRC_Outbreak throughout the history of the Faculty #hiv #aids
The launch of @imperialcollege's Faculty of Medicine in 1997 coincided with a new era in #HIV/#AIDS treatment and research. On #WorldAIDSDay we reflect on 25 years of trailblazing HIV/AIDS research since then. imperial.ac.uk/Stories/25-ye…

This is beautiful – at Lewisham, London
The lady in red is Dame Sarah Gilbert, who developed the Oxford COVID vaccine. She went to Wimbledon 2021 and had no clue that the organisers found out she was present among the audience. Her presence was announced and the crowd gave her a standing ovation.
