I’m here to sound the alarm again today as I’ve been doing since 2016.
We are in a dire situation when a performer is pulled from a tour for simply calling out genocide in Gaza.

Yes. See BELOW. Who wields power?
The entire Western Establishment effectively supports & enables the GENOCIDE and the ethnic cleansing
Western PEOPLE are decent, moral & humane on the whole; those who wield power in the West are not decent, moral or humane on the whole

All of Ed Sheeran’s openers have now withdrawn from the Looper Tour. Please realize how big this is. This is what unity looks like. Billionaires are terrified of people realizing how strong they can be when we come together for a cause. Continue speaking out. Support the new artists that are deciding to put their careers at risk to take this stance.

A sneaky Step 2 Free 120 question about a routine physical exam before starting exercise. I'll explain the answer in the first comment. If you easily get this right, the NBME gods have blessed you.

What is happening in Israel now is truly scary. It was maddening before, making one angry in a heartbeat. It is now scary, a masterclass in how nazism came to power. More than 21% of the country's population identified as "enemies from within", alongside its current elites. The erasure of any and all differences between Jewish politicians, attempts othewise at the sole cost of those attempting to differntiate. Calls for the stripping of citizenship from journalists who made a documentary film the entire country has not seen. A xomplete and utter rejection of anyone who is not "zionist" (read "jewish") as a traitor. This hasn't happened in the world for quite some time. It is happening now, to the fullest extent of "hapening".

Why is anyone surprised about Ed Sheeran? Gen Z music is all about either cosplaying music that's decades old or supermarket music with lyrics.
The fact a generation thinks it's some sort of genius rather than the unimaginative, toe the line corporate dirge that it is, tells you everything you need to know.
In the 70's and 80's there was Rock against racism, bands refused to play in anti apartheid South Africa Sun City, etc etc. Real bands made up of men and women who's music inherently had a message beyond " I love you, you're great, innit". The reason why Sheeran can have his huge success today is because the contract between artist and promoter/label is "be as bland as you can be, cause no trouble, you'll be rich ". Same in almost every media industry now.
So why would a bland, smiley moron with bland supermarket music for the musically semi literate have an opinion on anything? Seriously?
The music industry couldn't make money with bands who refused to toe the line 40 years ago, they were too unpredictable, too many songs banned on radio, too close to the truth, so they gave out deals based on compliance, mass market averageness and understanding of the rules, "say nothing, just play your fucking guitar".
That so many are looking at an industry talking head for some sort of political guidance is about as tragic as it fucking gets.
Vote! Join a party! March! Protest!
Ed Sheeran nor any other musician that's raking it in isn't coming to give you a voice.

This isn't looking great for Ed sheeran.
He shat on a friend (biggest mistake in my eyes)
Said he doesn't take sides...and well, he supported Ukraine here but not Palestinian kids.
No words for this kind of wankery behaviour

In a few decades, when their grandkids are asking what they did during the Gaza genocide, Macklemore will be able to say he stood in stadiums in front of tens of thousands of people and spoke out. Ed Sheeran will be able to say he dropped Macklemore.
Admire your courage @macklemore!

Wanting all humans to be treated equal should never be controversial.

It’s so incredibly disappointing that Macklemore, my constituent, was removed from Ed Sheeran’s tour because of his comments in support of the Palestinian people.
We should all be outraged that powerful people are more upset about what an artist says than the displacement, starvation, and killing of innocent Palestinian children and families.
Thank you, Macklemore, for speaking up. This is a moment for us to come together, find our moral conscience as a nation, and end this genocide.

Ed Sheeran has explained that he dropped Macklemore from his US tour because "life is a bit easier when you appease baby killers instead of standing up to them"

The absolute cowardice of @edsheeran.

Reporter: “Why did you shake Hamas fighters’ hands when they released you?”
Yocheved Lifshitz, Israeli woman who was released, said: “Because they treated us very well.”
Meanwhile Palestinian hostages are tortured to death by Israel.
Top Tip: Getting away with something stupid doesn’t make it clever. And doing the right thing intelligently doesn’t become wrong just because it ends badly. Judge decisions by the quality of the reasoning, not merely by the outcome.

Imagine 2 people at the summit of Everest.
Group A have spent years developing the knowledge, skills, judgement and physical ability needed to climb it. They have trained, gained experience progressively, accepted responsibility for their decisions and actually made the ascent.

Being allowed to stand at the same altitude does not mean you acquired the same expertise getting there.
That is the problem with confusing scope of practice with equivalence of training.
