I never believed Dr. Fauci. As an immunologist, I questioned his guidance from day one especially when he said, “I represent science.” Science is built on evidence, open debate, transparency, and the willingness to be challenged. No individual represents science. Millions trusted the official narrative, and the COVID era changed societies in ways we are still trying to understand. Fear, censorship, mandates, and polarization defined some of the darkest chapters of that period. I believe the COVID operation became a social experiment in mass formation and by that measure, it was remarkably effective. What have we truly learned, and if another global crisis emerges tomorrow, will we ask the hard questions before surrendering our critical thinking?
