Our @NorthBristolNHS teams in @NBTNeuroRad, stroke, anaesthesia and @NBT_ICU are fabulous - as a high volume MT centre the difference their treatment makes to many from across the SW and South Wales is amazing.
Thrombectomy saves lives & quality of life.
A few years ago, someone close to me unexpectedly had a stroke. What looked like being a dismal outcome was altered by the brilliant team @NBTNeuroRad @NorthBristolNHS undertaking a thrombectomy.
Thank you will never even come close.
Really proud of this work and huge thanks to Hannah Crofton, our Transfer Doctor @RetrieveSW for the @_retrieval conference. Will be publishing our learning and experience triaging referrals for stroke thrombectomy in the SW.
