The wonderful book my 6 year old daughter chose to read at bedtime tonight, and the very helpful book I’d been reading this afternoon while preparing for Sunday. Lovely coincidence!
Thanks from across the pond @melissabkruger and @michaeljkruger

If you aim for anything in life aim to be like Son.
We can’t all be super star talents but so much of this outpouring of love and admiration is about the person he is and we can all be a kind, humble, loyal and loving.
He deserves this and so much more🤍

Yesterday, a couple from our church adopted the 8yr who has been living with them as their son for over a year. So much of our church showed up to support them that the judge said we'd broken the record for an adoption hearing. This is what church family looks like in action!

Great piece, thanks @petewright1988
Have you read our most recent blog? It is an invitation to see your home as a “little church,” where the rhythms of grace—reading Scripture, praying, and singing—form the heartbeat of everyday life.

Jesus’s first words to disciples who had all betrayed him: “Peace be with you” (John 20:19).
He had dealt with their sin, and would remember it no more.

Particularly struck by this from Piper:
‘The Sunday worship service is not useless to children just because much of it goes over their heads. They can and will grow into this new language faster than we think - if positive and happy attitudes are fostered by the PARENTS!’
