"A hazing incident." Seal Team 6 guys killed him after finding out he had reported their theft of government $$ and trafficking of local African women. The authorities pretended to prosecute the two ST6 operators involved but let them out of prison as soon as attention died down.
Please help me honor US Army Green Beret Staff Sergeant Logan Melgar.
On June 4, 2017, the 34-year-old engineer sergeant was killed in Mali during a hazing incident by fellow special operators who broke into his room, restrained him, and applied a chokehold that led to his death by asphyxiation.
From Lubbock, Texas, he served with the 3rd Special Forces Group (Airborne) after enlisting in 2012, completed Special Forces training, and deploying twice to Afghanistan.
Survived by his wife Michelle and their two sons, Melgar was laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery, leaving a legacy of service and a case that exposed serious issues of accountability within elite military units.
Never forgotten.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Death ruled homicide by asphyxiation. Two SEALs and two Raiders charged with felony murder for chokehold in planned hazing to film sexual assault. Convicted of manslaughter/hazing; sentences 6mo-18mo after reductions. Theft cover-up motive alleged, denied.

Russian is still the first language of over 30% of the Ukrainian population.
ALL songs, poems, books, films etc in Russian are now to be banned.
Many already are.
Nazi state.
🇺🇦 Kiev moves to ban all Russian-language culture nationwide
"Changes to the law are planned. All Russian-language cultural products will fall under the ban," said Olena Ivanovska, Ukraine's commissioner for the protection of the state language, as reported by Times of Ukraine.
The current law, passed in 2022, only bans music created or performed by Russian citizens. Russian-language songs by Ukrainian artists remain legal, something Ivanovska has been trying to change since she took office in July 2025.
Without a national ban, her office has been pressing city councils one by one. Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk, Poltava, Kremenchug, Kropivnitsky and Ternopol have already adopted "moratoriums" banning Russian-language music, films, books and performances in public spaces.
Odessa is the holdout. On October 28, its city council rejected the ban for a second time, with only 18 deputies voting in favor. One deputy called it populist and "a piece of paper nobody will follow."
In early October, Ivanovska urged parliament to fast-track a bill amending the language law. On the same day as the Odessa vote, she also called on Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council to assess the "threats" facing the Ukrainian language.

Meanwhile, in a damp basement in Hendon, the cream of the Jewish supremacist movement assembles. With wine from the terror colony and invented ‘Israeli’ food to prop up their fragile, perpetual victim, egos.
As votes are counted in what could be Israel’s most consequential election yet (or the prelude to a re-run) @BoardofDeputies & @BritainIsrael hosted an election night event with analysis & tasty Israeli food & drink. Delighted to have @IsraelinUK Chargé @ChrisMCantor join us.

A lot of people won’t admit this but the difference between Obama and Trump is like the difference between Netanyahu and Eisenkot.

BREAKING: Sen. Chris Murphy was briefed on highly classified military planning on Iran to restart the war after the midterms, calling the plans "insane."
"I will just say this: their plan is insane. It will lead to devastating escalation and the likely destruction of our commitment to the rule of law," he said at the Middle East Institute event.
The plan "will be devastating for our security interests," he adds.

Like anyone else in this world, my friend Yousef wanted to get married and build a life. On the awaited day—a day meant for celebration and lasting, beautiful memories—he chose a suitable venue to celebrate simply. But suddenly, the venue was threatened by the Israeli occupation, and his joy was ended with a single word.
It might seem naive to talk about something like this compared to the daily bombings and killings committed by Israel against the Palestinian people, but it is worth mentioning that this occupation deprives us of joy in all its forms.

McDonald’s workers in Brazil celebrated new rules that cut the work week from six days to a maximum of five – without a reduction in pay.
Employee Luis Felippe posted a TikTok video of himself reading out an official communication on the changes, the initial phase of which goes into effect on 16 December.
The reform was a key pledge from president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who managed to get it passed shortly before Sunday’s election, which he won despite coming second in the first round of voting.

. @davidahearst : "Israel is now a country where you can be beaten up and stabbed for speaking Arabic, as happened to three Druze citizens in a nightclub in Tel Aviv. If you are a doctor or health worker, you can lose your job. Being a Zionist Arab, like the Druze who serve in the military, is no protection from fascists."

⭕️ Pulitzer Prize winner Benjamin Moser:
“The more I studied Zionism, the more I spent time there, the more I realized that every inch of Israel is Palestine. It was always Palestine.
Jews were never not allowed to live there as equal citizens, as they are in Britain or any other Western country. But the establishment of this state really did mean this massive ethnic cleansing that was not just a one-off.”

The genocide, apartheid & occupation will proceed regardless of which party wins.
The problem isn’t one side of Zionism.
Zionism itself is the problem.
The Green Party rejects the entire settler colonial project and backs Palestinian Liberation from the river to the sea.
What now for Gaza?
With neither bloc securing a majority in Israel's election, the battle to form a government could have major consequences for the region.

What now for Gaza?

While much of the world watches the Israeli election results, counts seats, follows political alliances, and wonders what comes next, life in Gaza tells a very different story.
This little girl arrived at Al-Rahma Clinic with painful burns on parts of her tiny body.
She knows nothing of elections, political alliances, or politicians’ speeches.
All she knows is that she is in pain.
The world has moved from war to ceasefire, from ceasefire to elections, and from one headline to the next. But Gaza’s suffering has not followed the news cycle.
The bombs may be falling less frequently, and politicians may now be busy counting votes. But children are still living among the ruins, bearing wounds, mourning loved ones, and enduring the consequences of a war that has taken almost everything from them.
And as the world slowly grows accustomed to their suffering, there is something I fear almost as much as the suffering itself: that one day, we will look at a photograph like this and feel nothing.
Look at this little girl. This is what a “ceasefire” looks like for her.
The world may have moved on from Gaza. But Gaza’s children have not been given the chance to move on from what the world allowed to happen to them.
