Listened yesterday for the first time in a year - and I cried. As someone who had never been a journalist till I joined CBC at 65, this project meant the world to me. I'm so happy that everyone can still enjoy it online. There are so many more stories to be told. Not done yet!
Thrilled that my documentary Better Late will air again today at 4pm across Canada (4:30 in NL) on CBC Radio. This episode is dedicated to the memory of my guest Eli Mitchell, who passed away a few months ago. You can catch the episode online already cbc.ca/listen/live-...

Back in January, the leader of the B.C. Conservatives met with New Brunswick premier Blaine Higgs, who had introduced legislation requiring parental consent before students could use a different pronoun or name at school.
Really enjoyed speaking with Premier of New Brunswick, Blaine Higgs tonight.
Premier Higgs proudly stood up for the rights of parents and families in New Brunswick & sparked a national discussion in Canada.
On behalf of Canadians and BC parents, thank you Premier Higgs! #bcpoli

Reading this in a calmer state and I'm grateful to @neel_dhan. Somehow he managed to get it all down. Or in? I will say that I fricking LOVE my job at @vermontpublic. But I feel like this interview got what I care about, and that's hard. And I'm grateful. niemanlab.org/2024/04/rumble…
