🇮🇱 *ISRAEL PERFORMS FIRST GLIOBLASTOMA ALPHA-RADIATION TREATMENT:* Hadassah Ein Kerem Medical Center has carried out Israel’s first experimental treatment using alpha radiation delivered directly into a recurrent glioblastoma tumor. The procedure was performed on a 77-year-old man whose cancer returned after surgery, radiation and drug therapy, as part of the country’s first clinical trial testing the approach for aggressive brain tumors that recur after standard treatment.

I’m an anti-DSA Democrat. Proudly. Unapologetically. Forever. Crush the DSA.
This is a revealing exchange -- the DSA simply will not acknowledge that left-wing dictatorships are not democracies.

Jews left behind an estimated 39,000 square miles of land when fleeing the Arab world. That’s four times the size of Israel. And somehow, their displacement became a footnote.

“The Arab population was small and limited until Jewish resettlement restored the barren lands and drew Arabs to it from neighboring countries. When organized Jewish colonization began in 1882, there were fewer than 150,000 Arabs in the land. The great majority of the Arab population in recent decades were comparative newcomers—either late immigrants or descendants of persons who had immigrated into Palestine in the previous 70 years”: Chairman of American Christian Palestine committee, 1953. “The Arabs have crowded into the country and multiplied …”Winston Churchill, 1939. "People used to come from all over the Middle East to work in Jaffa and the whole of Palestine. From Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, Hijaj, Marrakesh, from everywhere. Tens of thousands of workers”: Arab speaker, al Jazeera documentary. Encyclopaedia Britannia 1911 listed more than fifty languages being spoken in Palestine including Czech, Finnish, Hindustani, Hebrew, Arabic, Dutch, Kurdish, Russian, Serbian, Syrian and Turkish. “‘The people west of the Jordan are not Arabs, but only Arabic-speaking. The bulk of the population are fellahin.... In the Gaza district they are mostly of Egyptian origin; elsewhere they are of the most mixed race.”: UK government handbook 1920. Between 1922 and 1946 the Arab population of Palestine increased by 118 per cent. Roosevelt concluded in 1939 that “Arab immigration into Palestine since 1921 has vastly exceeded the total Jewish immigration during the whole period”. Your ignorance is painful.

There’s no evidence of ‘Arab foreigners’ migrating into Palestine in great numbers in the Mandate period.

What’s likely? That all your totally normal liberal Jewish friends suddenly “love genocide” or that Israel’s Islamist neighbors bent on its annihilation used propaganda to paint Jews as uniquely evil, literally the exact playbook every Jew-hating society has used for millennia?

If Israel had lost the 1948 war, where exactly would a Palestinian state have been? Most likely, nowhere. The territory would have been divided between Jordan and Egypt, just as it was before 1967. How do we know? Because the PLO's 1964 Charter explicitly stated that it made no claim to the West Bank, then under Jordanian control, or Gaza, then under Egyptian control. Its focus was on eliminating Jewish sovereignty. Hamas's 1988 Charter was even more explicit. It called for the destruction of Israel and framed the conflict in Islamist terms, but it never presented the creation of a Palestinian state as an objective. Literally no mentioning of a Palestinian state. That's why I believe the core of this conflict has never been simply about building a Palestinian state. It has been about rejecting a Jewish one. Real peace will only become possible when Palestinian leadership and society replaces the goal of destroying Israel with a positive vision for building their own future.

See in @EinatWilf latest book - the map of the British mandate of Palestine in 1920. A malaria ridden land that was uninhabitable. The Jewish immigration had brought a historic amount of people to the land over decades but those people had nothing guaranteed beyond a tent. They toiled the land for years, building agriculture, establishing socialist kibbutzim and moshavim. They made the land liveable and they resurrected Hebrew despite most people not knowing the language. This was the path for so many Jews escaping the diaspora in advance of WW2 because they had nowhere else to go but to their indigenous homeland. So after the war in 1948 it was not the case that Israel was “given” to the Jewish people. The Jewish people had earned their right to return to a homeland they had cultivated and re-established for decades, and they were immediately thrust into a war (rebranded by antizionist propagandists as “The Nakba”) to defend the nation that had just been established. They did not have a mighty army at this point. It was a bloody war, as has every war been since to defend the borders of the Jewish state from those who wanted to claim that the Jews had no legitimate heir to the region. Facts are quite something, aren’t they.

Haverford's AS settlement made the @WSJ editorial! Settlement is great achievement for Haverford's Jews. We're hopeful Haverford is ready to again be welcoming place for Jews. But given our awful experience, we'll stay on guard & assure commitments the college made are followed
Haverford Admits Its Antisemitism Problem The college settles a lawsuit by Jewish students amid ugly facts. By The Editorial Board Aug. 9, 2026 5:21 pm ET Universities that typically hunt for discrimination under every stone couldn’t muster the will to defend Jewish students after the Hamas massacre of Oct. 7, 2023. Protesters were allowed to break rules to bully Jews who declined to vilify Israel. Take Haverford, which on Friday announced a settlement to a lawsuit by Jewish students. The Philadelphia-area college said for the first time that discrimination against “Zionists,” or against Jews on the basis of their commitment to Israel’s existence, is a civil-rights violation that will incur discipline if proved. After fighting the Jewish students for more than two years, Haverford now corrects its appalling honor code and sets out new policies for disruptive and masked protesters. The college also admits a “failure on our part” since Oct. 7 and commits to “doing better.” For several years Haverford told Jewish students to take their problems to the anti-Israel student activists staffing the Honor Council. The council administered an honor code that subordinated the speech rights of what it called the “privileged” to the sentiments of the “marginalized.” If in conflict, it said, the privileged can’t expect to be treated with “respect.” Guess where the activists placed Jews in this schema? In the days after the Oct. 7 massacre, Haverford activists shared graphics of Hamas paragliders with the text: “Stand with Palestinian resistance.” Prof. Tarik Aougab called for “unequivocal and firm support for the Palestinian resistance” and reposted a social-media message celebrating the attack. Haverford gave him an award for embodying the college’s values. Activists were allowed to aggressively disrupt an event on antisemitism and occupy parts of Haverford’s campus, forcing Jewish students to run a gantlet to get to the library or dining hall. Posters for Jewish events were torn down. Haverford blamed the wind. Students conspired to block Zionists from leading campus tours and frequently called for all Zionists to be excluded from campus. A Jewish basketball player was pressured by administrators into dropping a long-approved “antisemitism awareness” designation for a home game lest that provoke students to disrupt the game and cause her team to forfeit. When Philadelphia Jewish leaders raised the hostile environment with Haverford, they say they were told to get used to it. In the past blacks and gays didn’t feel safe on campus to express their views, and now it is the Jews’ turn, Haverford’s diversity chief explained. Per the leaders in the room, the DEI chief said Jewish students need to disavow “genocide” and “stop filing complaints about antisemitism.” That attitude didn’t change easily. It helped that Haverford President Wendy Raymond was embarrassed at a Congressional hearing that exposed the facts of the case. But the Jewish students had to persist. Represented pro bono by the Deborah Project, which defends Jews who are under assault in education, they could afford to keep fighting. Ms. Raymond’s contract won’t be renewed, Haverford announced early in her term. The DEI chief resigned, and the college now adopts a definition of antisemitism that includes some forms of anti-Israel extremism. Discriminatory conduct will no longer pass muster because the perpetrators say they’re targeting “not Jews, only Zionists.” It’s a shame it took a lawsuit for Haverford to admit its antisemitism problem. wsj.com/opinion/haverford-ad… Appeared in the August 10, 2026, print edition as 'Haverford Admits Its Antisemitism Problem'.

There is unquestionably a rise of antisemitism in the United States. There is gross political support/fuel to antisemitism (3 D test) cloaked in ant-Zionism or anti-Israel. It is putting Americans in danger. There is a massive rise of attacks on jewish communities/citizen in the United States @ADL. That must be called out and concrete action plans to address it by leaders from local, state, and federal levels. But something worse is happening. Everyday tolerance and normalizing antisemitism. Caving to it like the Nashville book store (Bell Bird Books) owner that cancelled @AlyssaRosenheck book launch because of a concentrated attack against the store for hosting a "zionist" or "jew." The owner isn't antisemitic, but rather than stand up against it, she caved and cancelled the event. It is a trend that can only be stopped by us all. Do not tolerate antisemitism. Fight it. Call it out.

Fun fact: When the PLO was founded in 1964, the West Bank was ruled by Jordan and Gaza by Egypt. Yet the PLO didn't demand the "liberation" of either. Its founding charter called only for the elimination of Israel. If this conflict had always been about creating a Palestinian state, why wasn't Jordan's control of the West Bank or Egypt's control of Gaza considered occupation? Sometimes history asks uncomfortable questions.

I put together this info sheet because I’ve had to repeat these points a gazillion times to Jew-haters. It shows the Gaza civilian-to-combatant ratio, the extraordinary measures Israel takes to reduce civilian casualties, and the striking age/sex distribution of the dead. And for perspective: the Islamic Republic slaughtered roughly 30,000 protesters in just two days in January. Imagine what Israel could have done in two years if killing civilians were actually the objective.

There has been no final, legally binding international court judgment concluding that genocide has been committed in Gaza. There is also no credible footage whatsoever of the IDF committing deliberate mass murder. What actually has been very well documented in Gaza, with plenty of footage to support it, is Hamas carrying out public executions, Gazans parading the dead bodies of Israelis through the streets, Gazans openly stating that they want their children to be sacrificed as "martyrs", and footage of Israeli hostages who, when released, looked like victims of the Holocaust in WWII. Finally, showing footage of destroyed buildings doesn't, by any definition, automatically translate to "genocide". It's an intellectually lazy use of "shock factor" to convince the gullible to swallow your skewed narrative.
