If you have to read one blog?
Read this - @RoyLilley on excoriating form
Sort of like @GeoffreyBoycott analysing cricket 🏏
And then see some details- H/T @HSJnews for the work
In a climate of lack of funds where people can’t get treatment as dictated by @NICEComms et al?
Nurses being de-banded?
Corridor care what it is due to lack of resources - social care or otherwise?
Senior execs walk away with payouts
Case in point? Navina Evans
Led a workforce plan which inspite of the name “long term” lasted for about a year
Backed PAs ahead of Doctors
Less said the better on work to tackle #Racism and dismantling of WRES
The reward?
150K of public purse money
And then there’s Chris Hopson
And we wonder why the #NHS fails and why leadership continue to lose respect- amongst its staff
Expect to see all back into NHS roles shortly- somewhere.
Why wasn’t Streeting reined-in?
The supine NHSE board are useless... we had a dud of a PM.
The only people who could have done it was the succession of Permanent Secretaries at the DH++. myemail.constantcontact.com/…

Everyone wants to do person centred care. But do we actually do it? Start off by finding out a bit about people. Easy to integrate into even short encounters like taking bloods or ward round reviews.

Older person confused. Urine dipped. 'Positive'. Antibiotics. Feeling of "job done."
Except: delirium missed, true causes not found, patient discharged still confused. 🫥🫥🫥
➡️ New confusion = delirium.
Same attention needed as chest pain or acute kidney injury. 👍👍👍
