Chronic stress plays a large role in our mental health.
High cortisol levels are one of the biggest indicators of chronic stress. When cortisol falls out of its normal patterns, the body becomes less resilient and more susceptible to depression and other mental health issues.
Even if a person does not have a depressive disorder, they may still feel “flat” or “low”.
Take care of your body and return to a healthier state by focusing on cortisol, the HPA axis, and stress reduction.
