We just had a very detailed, hour-and-a-half-long conversation with Steve Witkoff @SEPeaceMissions and Jared Kushner @jaredkushner. We are preparing for a trilateral format at the team level between Ukraine, the United States, and Russia – to take place in less than a week.
Today, there was also a substantive meeting in Brussels involving our team, teams from America, the EU, France, the United Kingdom, Germany, NATO, the World Bank, and representatives of the global business community. The meeting focused on postwar recovery. There will be another meeting in Brussels tomorrow on security guarantees for Ukraine. The negotiations must move forward at full throttle to bring this war to an end as quickly as possible. Ukraine is ready to take the necessary steps. Our proposals are clear, and we have given them to the American side.
Air defense is an important priority, and we discussed this as well. We need interceptors for Patriot systems to protect lives from Russian attacks. We must also continue working on each of the bilateral tracks with America. This applies to the Drone Deal format in particular. Ukraine is grateful to the United States for its support for Ukraine's independence, our people, and diplomatic efforts. Peace has no alternative, and postwar security guarantees must be truly cast-iron. We are working to make this happen! Glory to Ukraine!

The spouses of Ukraine’s, Italy’s and Estonia’s ambassadors to Australia have resigned from the Women’s International Club of Canberra after it admitted Irina Petrakova, wife of Russia’s ambassador.
As my beloved wife Liana has rightly put it in the resignation letter: “This is not about a Russian woman simply because she is Russian,” but because she is in Australia representing “the country that killed my cousin, burned my friend alive, took the lives of many of my friends from school and university.
She represents a Russia that kills, maims, commits sexual violence and subjects people to horrific torture — a Russia for which, through its actions, the value of human life appears to be disregarded. This includes the lives of the 38 Australian passengers who were on board MH17.”

🚫 Russian Lie: “Most men of conscription age from Oleshky refused to evacuate to Ukraine, and those residents who did leave hate Zelenskyy and blame the Ukrainian Armed Forces for the shelling.”
These claims are being spread by Russian media, citing former member of the Kherson City Council, Yuriy Pogrebny, who claims to have "spoken with neighbors of those who left."
✅ Reality: The Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada, Dmytro Lubinets, explained that some residents voluntarily remained in Oleshky. "They personally confirmed to me that it is their genuine desire to be physically present there," he noted.
The people who remained were not left without help: they received food, water, medicine, fuel for generators, and equipment for the hospital, which continues to operate in the city.
At the same time, neither side has released data on the number of people who left or remained. Pogrebny's publication also lacks statistics on men of conscription age or data on the sentiments of all those evacuated. Retelling individual conversations does not provide grounds for such conclusions.
