We have an appointment with affliction🙂

Too many people poorly define suffering and affliction and limit it to the pain of sickness and poverty. If people realised how perfect and painless God's original earth was, they would admit that even the so-called pleasures of this life are an affliction when compared to the glories of the world to come. When believers disagree over doctrine, and it leads to the tiniest of hurts or griefs, that's affliction. When we go to church and observe the lukewarmness on the pulpit and the pew, that's affliction. When we observe the depravity of the modern world and behold numerous inventions of iniquity, that's affliction. Afflictions are everywhere, Some are more excruciating than others, but the same Comforter is present to ease our aches.
