I highly recommend @markpinc’s new book - Life at the Speed of Play. I had the opportunity to work for Mark at Zynga and witness the effectiveness of the tools he outlines in the book for entrepreneurs. Plus it’s just a fun read.
Sharing Mark's thoughtful piece about why we should be optimistic about AI and why Meta is working on empowering people with this critical technology.

1/ It's very sad to learn of Dikembe's passing. I had the pleasure of living next door to him my sophomore year at Georgetown. He was a friendly, larger-than-life personality. Once for my birthday my mom had sent me a pan of brownies. #DikembeMutombo
2 / I was sitting at my desk and saw Dikembe walk by and asked him if he wanted one. He said "yes," ducked into my room and proceeded to carefully slice the brownies.
Amazing win by USA Cricket. One of the bigger international upsets in any sports that I can remember.

I am hoping Congress makes enough money though insider trading that they won't want to take up the Biden capital gains proposal.
This civilization first appeared 15,000 years ago and died out 14,975 years ago…
The Indigenous people known as the Huichol first appeared in the highlands of Central Mexico some 15,000 years ago. According to their ancient traditions, both men and women would experience the pain of childbirth. Here's how it was done: the father would position himself on the rafters with a rope tied around his scrotum, while the mother would pull on it while giving birth.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The original yarn painting is from a Huichol artist named Guadalupe de la Cruz Ríos, was made somewhere between 1960 and 1974, and did not depict a historical birthing custom. It is suggested that the 'tradition' might be based on an old trickster tale.

Researchers are rushing to recreate the exciting room temperature superconductor results coming out of South Korea. It reminds me of another day back in 1989 when two University of Utah chemists, Pons and Fleischmann, announced they had demonstrated “cold fusion.” 1/
As we poured over the results, something fishy stood out. The temperature went up gradually starting at about 6pm but then starting coming down in the early morning. That wasn’t consistent with the paper. 6/
