I get posting it on the community focused account but to not even retweet it on main when its this serious, kinda says somethin man
This weekend, a Dead by Daylight team member awarded in-game content and currency to a creator streaming our game. Although it is not unusual to unlock content to give creators discovering DbD a chance to have a sneak peek at available content, this decision was made without receiving appropriate approvals. Furthermore, the team member's subsequent comments and conduct do not align with Dead by Daylight鈥檚 core values. When concerns about this decision became apparent during the stream, we should have responded by looking into these concerns, not dismissing them. Unfortunately, we鈥檝e now seen the fallout of this decision unfolding in many conversations across the DbD community. We appreciate and stand with our community鈥檚 willingness to ensure our shared values are being upheld, at all times, regardless of popularity, and we鈥檙e heartbroken at the inflammatory language now being directed towards our community. At the same time, threatening employees will never be acceptable, and we鈥檙e asking everyone to stop engaging with these posts. We apologize to our community for letting you down. We have already begun reviewing our internal processes to prevent an incident like this from happening again.

Bit ironic dbd created the Pulse account for community engagement and not a week later need to use it for community outrage

"wasnt our fault, but we're looking to make sure this doesnt happan again" - feels like scapegoat passing the blame. its hard to believe 1 employee is totally to blame "pls no witchhunts" - called it "what else do you expect them to say", idk man, hope they do make change tho

it doesnnt matter and we'll never be privvy to the information, but i do wonder who even made this apology post It being a faceless post passing the blame sucks, sorry not sorry

The only heat anyone should be taking Fuck leg day, but it does feel good

Ppl love to point out systemic problems but when there's someone to directly go after, they drop that to dogpile someone That just leaves to companies using ppl we scapegoats without actually learning anything, doomed to just repeat the same thing and hope they aren't caught agn

I've always said the social media side of dbd has become the minority What if we're just finally seeing what the actual community has become Coupled with the hundreds of harassment screenshots from end game and pre game chats leading to action taken reports

If dbd posts a response, one of the first things is gonna be "erm witch hunting is wrong and we don't support it 馃"

this a good couple pfp right here

deja vu showed the 3 gen around 8 on Fallen Refuge and not around main at the start of the game, this is why I hate deja vu and think it's a trap perk for lesser experienced players

South Park said the f slur at the start of this new season That threw me off

theres more to criticize over how a streamer cultivates their community than honing in on one or two things they've said 2+ years ago, which is such a mixed bag because you then have the argument split down the middle if a streamer is responsible for their community or not

worded this wrong, everyones honing in on something he said 2+ years ago, when instead hone in on the community he curates since that, not doing anything really to stop them Which then leads into the argument if a streamer is responsible for their community or not

Not to mention, the people mad about this collab, we have to acknowledge is the smallest minority... most are upset most of the time anyway, myself included a lot kinda makes sense why they'd sooner care about profits than feelings

There's also irony that most people upset at DBD also willingly engage in leaks. You do not and can not love a game if you engage in leaks. And now in retaliation for their "beloved game betraying them", they will clamor to leakers even more Which is a vicious cycle

I've always worn my heart on my sleeve, even through all my opinions, I've always supported people being who they want to be I've not been shy I've had a lot of unpoular opinions though

The worst thing, that was one stream that people would have forgotten in a week But now there's going to be video after video how woke and whiny the dbd community is
46
not going out but i dressed up as Art sorry not sorry

On one band idc dbd got BurntPeanut to play dbd, on the other, critiscm is fair because 5 years ago, they were a very progressive company and most of the community devs still are and Peanuts controversy contradicts that

Ppl complaining about him now gives him content to feed his audience about how toxic and woke the dbd community is though , giving us another Flats situation
