Didcot Town are delighted to announce that Dylan Conlan has agreed to remain at the club next season.  Dylan has proved popular amongst supporters during his two seasons with the club, and he's shown his versatility by playing in a number of different positions for the team.  The 20-year old made 23 appearances for the side last season after missing the early part of the season through injury.  Dylan has made 62 appearances for the railwaymen during his time at the Loop Meadow Stadium, scoring four goals.  Welcome back, Dylan.

Congratulations to Dylan Conlan who made his 50th appearance for the club today.  The 19-year-old has been a permanent figure around the first team since his arrival in the summer of 2024. Dylan made his debut in the opening game of the 2024/25 season and he went on to make 39 appearances in his first season at the Loop Meadow Stadium.  The versatile player missed the first few months of this season through injury but he's now made 11 appearances for the railwaymen since his first appearance in November.  Congratulations to @dylanconlan7 on reaching 50 appearances for the club.

Dylan Conlan has returned to Didcot Town from Abingdon United after spending the past month on loan with the Combined Counties League side. Dylan hasn't featured for Didcot this season, having only recently returned to full fitness after missing the start of the season with an ankle injury. His spell at Abingdon, where he featured five times, including four starts, was seen as an opportunity to enjoy some regular first-team football, as he looked to return to full fitness. The winger joined Didcot in the summer of 2024, and he had a successful first season at the Loop, making 39 appearances and scoring 3 times. Dylan will go into the squad for the clash with Sporting Club Inkberrow on Tuesday evening.

Charlie Herbert returned to full training this week after nine months out through injury The defender required cruciate ligament surgery following an injury in the game at Falmouth Town in early January.  It's the latest stage of his comeback from the injury and it's great to see him back training with the team.  There was also good news as Dylan Conlan and Sam Barder came through training after their spells on the sidelines.  Dylan hasn't featured this season due to an ankle injury whilst Sam has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury in Didcot's season opener against Milton United in the FA Cup. Both could be added to the squad for the game with Exmouth Town on Saturday.

Today, we look back at the most appearances by players who made their debuts in the 2024/25 season.  Midfielder Dylan Conlan made 39 appearances,  making his debut against Larkhall Athletic on the opening day.  On loan Banbury United forward,  Zach Scott made 28 appearances.  Zach joined Didcot in September and he made his debut as a second half substitute in the 1-0 home win against Cribbs in the same month.  Forward Josh Davis mate 26 appearances.  Josh made a goalscoring debut from the penalty spot in the opening day win against Larkhall Athletic.  Midfielder Kian Duggan made 22 appearances.  Kian joined Didcot in November and he made his debut as a second half substitute in the 5-0 defeat at Mousehole at the end of the month.  Finally,  Dan Warre made 19 appearances.  Dan joined the club at the start of the year and he made an instant impression,  scoring in the 4-1 defeat at Falmouth Town on Didcot's first game of the year.  Tomorrow, we will be looking at the overall appearances at the club.

It's been an amazing season for teenagers at the club.  In total, thirteen teenagers appeared for Didcot Town during the season, amassing a staggering 236 appearances.  Credit must be given to manager Jamie Heapy and his coaching staff in believing and giving these youngsters their opportunity to play in the Southern League.  Combative midfielder Owen Smith led the way with 42 appearances.  It's a fantastic total when you think Owen only returned to first team action in pre season after a serious head injury ruled him out of the final months of the previous season.  Dylan Conlan was next with 39 appearances. Dylan settled into life at the Loop following his arrival from Abingdon United last summer. Dylan often switching from winger to full back, and he scored his first two goals for the club in the 3-0 win against Bideford in December.  After making his debut on the final day of the previous season, Conor McGrath made 36 appearances, and like Dylan, he showed his versatility. Conor often switched full back positions. Zach Scott made 28 appearances. Zach, who only turned 18 on Friday, is another who has played in a number of roles this season.  Midfielder Kian Duggan made 22 appearances. The energetic midfielder worked hard for the side following his arrival from Oxford City.  Tomorrow, we will be looking at the leading goalscorers at the club.
