No matter how much they pretend to be, sandboxes are not serverless. Most sandbox providers have a fatal flaw: designing around compute. A storage-first model will be a requirement to meet the demands of agents and truly achieve "serverless intelligence."

Introducing Gemini API CLI (gemini-api), now available in preview! Our CLI gives your agent power to generate images, videos, text-to-speech, or music, analyze media, transcribe audio, or manage agents. No more guessing model strings, throwaway scripts or endless curl. 🧵 👇

SQLite is the most used database in the world, and its biggest weakness has always been the same: it runs on one machine, and if that machine dies, your data is gone. The usual fix is Litestream, but that's a Go binary you have to babysit. So we (@platformatic) rewrote it in TypeScript.

We open sourced a *really fast* HTML artifact builder. It's powered by libfx, making the agent durable. Building the low-level plumbing for v0 to survive server crashes, flaky LLMs, function limits was a huge pain. Now it's easy, free, and OSS: fx0.vercel.dev. PS: I built this floating container in a few minutes… it's delightful, and it's just HTML!
We built a 'mini v0' on libfx to showcase its speed and durability: • Design or prototype anything in seconds • 200+ models from Vercel AI Gateway • Outputs are pure HTML artifacts • Fork it & make it your own Try it free ↓ fx0.vercel.dev

If your app is RAM-bound and tight container limits, serverless cold starts, and high memory bills are hitting you, this is the easiest 50% memory win you'll ever test. Two minutes with Docker. Try it: github.com/platformatic/node…

New from Vercel Labs: tsc-ts TypeScript was written in TypeScript Then rewritten in Go We ported it back to TypeScript Compiled it with scriptc And it's 2-4x faster than tsgo

fx v0.0.14 libfx is now durable out of the box. Same API on local, Vercel and DIY. - Sessions survive crashes, redeploys & timeouts - Power cloud agents with ChatGPT & Grok subscriptions - Custom providers & local model support in libfx - Run multiple libfx agents in one app - More control over each libfx session - TypeScript types for libfx's public APIs - Ported to Zig 0.17 - Multiple bug fixes & security improvements fx.sh/changelog#v0.0.14

Wrote up how we're trying to reduce PR review friction with concept of "small-change" as PRs/eng/week has increased 10x on some teams. (Aside: incidents down 42% HoH, critical incidents down 78%! Velocity vs quality never been a falser dichotomy.) lethain.com/small-changes/

Gemini 4 Argon is live in Antigravity for paid Pro subscribers. As part of Pro, you get a separate weekly quota so it doesn’t eat up your Flash quota. Excited to see Antigravity push the limits of our best model yet. Love to see what you build!

Hot take for agents: there are situations were VMs work great, there are situations where sandboxes work great, there are situations where a durable object is all you need, and there are situations where you just need a javascript interpreter. And probably many more situations.

How to effectively debug with agents when you no longer read or understand the code In this post, I propose a debugging framework for agents that doesn’t rely on human knowledge of code to get to the right “root cause” The TL;DR are the screenshots. Link to post in the reply.
Writing a post about “how to effectively debug code when you no longer fully understand it”. This is real bug I had to fix in ~9K LOC (100% AI generated). None of the tactics I started with here helped “root cause” the issue, lol. Had to take a different approach to isolate it.

poteto's cursor profile is public. She's used 1.5T tokens in the last 30 days. Assuming an avg rate of $8/M that's $384k/day or $11m. In the last 30 days. Per year thats $132M. Let's assume Cursor has some insane deal with Anthropic and gets 90% off. That comes out to $38k/day or $1.1M in Sept/Oct. $13m will get me 26 sassy staff-level all stars for $500k/yr
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Cursor profile at cursor.com/@lauren shows 1.5T tokens used. Cost estimates at $8/M do not account for prompt caching common in agent coding, where cache reads are billed at ~10% of input rates per analyses of Anthropic pricing. This results in lower effective costs. cursor.com/@lauren chudi.dev/blog/claude-pr… carlosaragon.online/blog/anthropic…

working at a higher level of abstraction has always required understanding the lower level ones, I don't think coding agents changes this

Terse is joining the YC F26 batch! We are the open-source alternative to Cloudflare's Durable Objects, with configurable compute, data residency guarantees, direct access to Sqlite storage, a multi-tenant environment and concurrency safety by default. And it's very fast!
