first impression of the duo screen:
- large screen form factor is on another lvl.
- multitaskmaxxing
- if you love reading, do a lot of work on your phone / travel, i think this will be the best device one could possibly get (v1 still has a lot of improvements to make)
- a bit weird to test apps that are not properly configured yet, tho ik this will resolve over the next few weeks
- nano texture + screen protector feels quite nice, and though mayb screen might look more “premium” without nano, i like it thus far
- a bit getting used to the typing, prefer to type when it’s vertical
- when the phone is shut it’s quite a small screen tbh.
- weird black side bar when you open all apps and currently not configured to fit entire screen real estate
- typing is enjoyable on the small screen
- feel like something about the screens will not make me want to scroll for no purpose
might have to cop these unless someone has better recommendations
apple wired headphones never fit my ear properly and no noise cancellation
The $99 headphones eliminate battery anxiety and come with a USB-C connector to accommodate modern phones. theverge.com/tech/1001326/bo…
muse's moat is the partnerships & the data. muse's problem is that meta owns it.
trust has been the one thing they've never been able to buy, & this is a product category where trust is the entire product.
pretty bad ass to see all these new partnerships announced, endless possibilities on the horizon.
not bullish on agents taking over shopping & i think the thesis gets consumer behavior backwards.
agentic shopping optimizes for speed & efficiency. but most shopping isn't a chore people want solved, it's entertainment. browsing is the point. trying things on is the point. seeing something you didn't know you wanted is the point.
you can automate the purchase. you can't automate the part people actually enjoy.

ngl one of the cleanest watches i’ve ever seen
Breaking news: Rolex debuts the brand new Perpetual Padellone, bringing back the moon phase alongside instantaneous complete annual calendar functionality.
FIRST LOOK HERE: tinyurl.com/ycn8nmz8
Drawing on the legendary reference 8171 “Padellone” produced from the late 1940s into the early 1950s, the new watches pays tribute to the brand’s legacy, while looking toward its future. Housed in a 39mm case and offered in Everose gold and platinum, this isn’t just one of the most elegant Rolex pieces to date, but one that introduces a suite of new mechanical innovations.
Packed with instantaneous complete annual calendar and moonphase the new automatic Calibre 7190 within builds on recent technologies, including a Syloxi hairspring and the Dynapulse escapement introduced with the Land-Dweller, while adding the new patented Haplos annual-calendar system. The new line is kicking off with three distinct configurations, including one with a matching Settimo bracelet in Everose Gold for the first time.
We’re reporting to you live from the launch, with a full video now on YouTube and an article by Danny Milton on our website. Be sure to let us know your first impressions of the Perpetual Padellone in the comments!
is muse worth switching to from instinct?
instinct has been great so far. you can tell the team cares about the small details. not perfect, but it's clearly getting better.
the thing i keep going back & forth on is whether going deeper on instinct is wasted effort if muse ends up being the winner.
