As I always say: Health care is a basic human right.
Our people can't go to work or take care of their families if they can't get the care they need. Cutting into Medicaid isn't just short-sighted, it's wrong and it's dangerous.

So apparently my hometown Pizza Hut (where my dad still lives) has rebranded as Pizza Hut Classic. They brought back the old interior, the old logo, and so the lunch buffet again, even cups. Didn't know this was a thing, tried to capture as much of the aesthetic as I could here.

Just yesterday, our radar clocked a driver going 101 MPH headed eastbound on the 4th Street Bridge headed from @covingtonkygov to @CityofNewportKY . @KYTCDistrict6 claims they need to widen this bridge due to traffic backups. We have to ask, what backups?

It's 2023 and I don't know where to put this but it feels like I just opened an old box of stuff that's been buried in my closet for more than a decade: uproxx.com/indie/blog-rock-b…
This is really important.
Standing room only tonight @covingtonkygov commission meeting where neighbors listened to @KYTCDistrict6 and asked for a safer 3 lane 4th st bridge that is also streetcar ready. **No public comment was allowed so communication was via signs.

As I did for the first season, I chatted with series masterminds Christopher Storer and Josh Senior to discuss the season two soundtrack of THE BEAR. We go deep on Hornsby, "Strange Currencies," Counting Crows (again!), and about a dozen other songs. uproxx.com/indie/the-bear-se…
