Just stayed with a beautiful dog tied up alone outside M&S in #Shrewsbury. A dog was stolen over the weekend in London in exactly the same situation. I asked the owner (who arrived after five minutes) please not to do it. Don’t leave your dog tied up outside a shop. There are dog thieves everywhere. In this town and others, there are people who would steal your pet. 🙄🙄

Just been to visit the wonderful people at @MenShrewsbury ahead of @reengageuk #Shrewsbury tea party on Sunday. Picking up food from @ShrewsFoodHub tomorrow so this is a wonderful example of charities working together. The Re-engage group will absolutely love the experience
What a privilege to hear the #Shrewsbury male voice choir @ShrewsFlowerShw today.
Early this morning I saw one signet and adult on the wrong side of the weir. Patient adult tried to show the youngster which route to take back up but initial attempts failed. Eventually the youngster managed to follow and got up. @CuanWildlife were on standby 👌

Found this little guy in our churchyard today, after checking before I strimmed the grass. He/She looked really poorly. Took it to the lovely @CuanWildlife people. Heated up the car on the way and it started to climb out of the box. So, wings crossed for a result! Lesson: PLEASE, PLEASE check before you strim. It literally only takes a minute or two. Thank you 🙏 🦇👍😊
