ebkuties, of course we lost some money, but I can’t wait to make it back, and then some. i love trading. like I loveeeeee it.
aaand i’m so happy to be here. trading is my sushi: like sukiyabashi jiro masters his sushi craft, it’s my art form, an endless drive for perfection i’ll never hit but will always refine.
markets are living history - euphoria and terror, trade flows, monetary shocks, policy shocks, labor shocks - all scribbled in real time by us.
take it with a shrug: the beauty’s in how opportunities emerge from the macroeconomic muck.
tariffs are import taxes—say, on steel or semiconductors—meant to shield domestic industries from foreign competition. they’re classic protectionism, but slap them on too broad, too fast, and aggregate demand takes a hit: consumer prices rise, firms cut jobs. central banks, already wrestling monetary policy—think interest rates—to tame inflation and bolster employment, face a supply shock mess. vietnam’s gdp—$4k per capita—can’t match our $83k; their purchasing power’s a fraction, so bilateral trade reciprocity’s a pipe dream. it’s basic comparative advantage: their export-led growth doesn’t mean they can absorb our output.
uncertainty’s the macro kicker. it spikes volatility—think exchange rates, input costs—and stalls investment as firms hoard cash. but here’s the play: preparation turns that into expected utility. build your human capital or liquidity now, and you’re positioned when markets overreact. this isn’t the great depression—gdp tanked 30% then, dragged by slow info diffusion via snail mail (and slow word of mouth information exchange). conversely, today’s real-time data—cpi reports, pmi drops—means faster policy lags and market corrections. it’s a cycle, not a collapse.
we’re drafting this economic script. builders - those leveraging asymmetric info or capital - thrive in disequilibrium. vietnam’s gdp’s dwarfed, yet they export $370b yearly; trade balances skew with development gaps, but readiness flips chaos into gains. trading is my sushi - jiro’s precision in my domain, a perpetual optimization // and i’m here, dissecting the entropy. numbers flux // don’t let them own you, never kys. this is our moment; keep grinding ebkuties.

Dear ebkuties, i write this for you, and this is part of why i made @ebktech
a friend, @alpyeong once said "leverage is a contract with demons, they give big, take back bigger".
If you are a bad trader, this is for you, if you feel emboldended, it is for you too.
first, you dont have to trade every day.
- there are periods to make money, and there are periods to chill and study. you can trade for 1/12th of the year and spend the remainder sharpening your edge.
- i traded nose down 200m+ volume of levered perp futures from sophomore year of high school to sophomore year of college. it make me crazy.
- this gave me spidey senses, and spending years staring at charts (thinking i was smart) (maybe actually taught me something) ... i think that while levered perps are evil, they made me more prepared to dominate onchain.
second, you need to learn on your own.
- once you realize no one is coming to save you, your journey will begin.
- even if someone gives you the best trade idea ever, they cannot execute for you.
- no one really knows, markets are efficient, if they had a material reason that the price of X should more to P price, then the market would immediately adjust.
- anyone that definitively tells you something is going up/down definitively, they are most likely regurgitating narratives and their thesis is hopeful at best.
- i can sit down with traders that think they are elite and when they speak i am very confused. these traders arent good (basically kids obsessed w tjr).
- i can sit down with traders that are mature, and we can productively discuss market outlooks because... well its more simple than you think :D
- by sitting down and breaking down the fundamentals, you allow yourself to engage with any market or meta
- there is an internal battle every trader faces initially, and maybe always - i sometimes ponder alternative outcomes and regret decisions i've made previously, but then i remember it is all part of my journey.
third, become good with computer
- computer is important
- get the best computer
- use the best tech you need
- provide yourself with core necessities
- learn faster with ai
- automate processes, journal, use tech to reinforce your learning, earning, and mind
fourth, effective investors collaborate and share information
- in the information economy, and in a place where information is abundant, smart friends act as filters, funnels and buffers allowing you to get a sense of the market.
- find community and talk to others, you still need to do everything on your own, but like all things in life -- you get out what you put in.
- if you are a geniuine, good, real human, you will find others trying to make it as well.
fifth, there is no end game
- you can quit at any time
- you can't quit whenever you want
- once you have invested capital, you will never take all of you money out of the market. if you do you are retarded.
- but the point is the game never ends. once you hit $100k, $1m comes fast, but easy come easy go. i've roundtripped big amounts of money, im still perfecting my trade.
- after your first millions, the focus is not only on risking that capital to grow it slowly, you should expand your investments, found a company, and build your dreams.
6th ebk
- ebk can never fail because i will never give up.

hey! i need your help.
i’ve spent the last 8 months building something i really care about —
all the art, all the development, everything’s done.
but now i need help with marketing and attention.
it’s called ebkuties —
levelable, playable, interactive NFTs.
each one is hand-drawn, lives in its own room, and evolves over time.
inspired by milady + pokemon.
they’re weird. they’re soulful. they’re yours.
mint isn’t live yet, but we’re starting to post now.
if you fw the vision:
•follow @ebktech
•repost or quote something with your vibe
•forward this to anyone who might care — NFT heads, artists, builders, weird internet people
we’re doing this organically — no paid ads, no VC.
just trying to build something iconic with people who get it.
appreciate you heavy if you’re down.

There are people that make things and there are people who take things. I’m a maker.
Always do good business. Always take the brunt in the short I term. The best things are cooked slowly, with love.
The fools who have stolen pennies from me won 🏆
I also won 🏆 it only costs a few cents, makes sense.
People show you who they are when you meet them, you might be wrong, but usually when things go awry, you remember the first signs immediately.
It is important that you don’t become an isolationist, legacy’s are built together, but know when to cut the loss on corrupt people. You will immediately see that they suffocate without your blood to vampire from.
My message is to everyone, be strong, be bold, be honest, have integrity, always put ethics before dollars.
Money really doesn’t mean anything, when you’re on your deathbed, you’re not going to be counting all of the commas you’ve earned. What you will remember, however, is how you struggled, the grind, and the people that helped and worked with you to make your dreams come true… your “family”.
To my partners I love you. To my “foes”, I love you.
Don’t waste your time, crying over spilled milk. Takers will continue taking, but us builders, hahahahaha.
