A few too many draws for a norm but in a field stacked with GMs and IMs, Stanley held his own in the GM Mix Swiss in Sarajevo. Gained some rating to take his live FIDE to 2353. Glad to have him home! English Championships next @ecfchess @EngChessTrack @TelegraphChess @chessdom @CHESS_Magazine

I’m at the @Delancey_UKCC Challengers event in Peterborough this weekend. What an awesome spectacle with some 200 top juniors battling it out, age range U8 through to U18. Makes for quite a range in the height of the competitors who eagerly gather like a sea for the next round.
