My government contract Secret Weapon.
“The FAR”
Studying the government's rule book FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulation) is boring and time consuming ..
So if you ask me where to began your learning I would say these are my Top 8 sections.

Met a guy who got a $750,000 offer from Anthropic
I asked him how he broke into AI so fast
He sent me the exact video that got him in. Andrej Karpathy's 3.5 hour deep dive into LLMs
You won't find anything better about how LLMs work than this video
I watched it last night
Halfway through, I realized I have been using AI completely wrong for years

build a directory for the exact people you sell to
say you sell to med spas
scrape google maps for every med spa, enrich it from their websites and socials
have claude one shot a directory off that data
build ~10 good links and it starts ranking for "best med spa in {city}"
your target customer searches this constantly
then "advertise" your product on your own directory
America has 16,876 machine shops.
83% employ fewer than 20 people. Just nine employ more than 500.
New defense companies are moving from prototypes to mass production, and every missile, drone, ship, and rocket they ultimately produce needs to run through one of these small shops.
That friction is a national security liability.

Thanks, Peter! This is the beginning of the end for destructive wildfires. In a country that loses ~$500B every year to wildfires, even tiny gains make for huge savings, to say nothing of the incalculable value of lives and homes.
Congrats to @PalmerLuckey and Anduril for winning the Wildfire XPRIZE - for detecting and suppressing a wildfire within 10 minutes of ignition!

Everyone watching Iran's state-run TV news program probably noticed they picked up an Anduril Dive-LD, our mass-produced attritable submarine.
This particular vehicle has been swimming in CENTCOM for months, successfully operating in support of American forces for thousands of hours. It was explicitly designed to operate in environments too dangerous for humans where capture is an expected possibility. I can't get into the details, but it provided significant value for months before capture.
Rest in peace, little buddy.

We pay the premiums. We pay the deductibles. We pay the copays.
Then when we actually need care, an insurance company gets to decide whether it will pay.
Healthcare should exist to keep people alive and healthy, not to maximize shareholder returns.
Something has to change.

🚨En 1986 lo echaron de TODOS los casinos de Las Vegas por contar cartas.
Así que se subió a un avión con 180.000 dólares y aterrizó en Hong Kong. Empezó a apostar a caballos.
Si no → pasaba.
Esa es toda la “trampa”:
Valor esperado.
EV = p · b − (1 − p)

.@bhorowitz on how a game studio turned it's last $6 million into Slack:
"Stewart calls me. He says, 'Ben, I've got $6 million left. I have no way to raise money because I've made really no progress. So I've got three choices. I can pray for rain and try and finish it, I can shut down the company and give you your $6 million back, or we built this tool that we use in our engineering team to communicate with each other, and I could just put that out as a product.'"
"I'm like, 'What? You just built some tool to talk to each other and you want to put that out as a product? And you're a consumer guy, and you want to become an enterprise software guy?'"
"$6 million is not gonna make any difference in my life. If you really think it's a good idea, go ahead."

This is going to sound crazy.
But, one of the skills you must learn in the near future is how to cope with an increasingly illiterate society of emotionally dysregulated people.
If you continue to get frustrated on a daily basis over how everything seems dumb, stress is going to silently jeopardize your health.

Nobody wants to hear this, but the biggest moat in business right now is attention.
40 cents of every venture dollar raised goes to Google and Facebook for ads.
As a founder, spending time building an audience organically will give you a higher long term ROI than almost anything else.
