Tropical Storm #BasyangPH remains strong, and is moving westward toward Eastern Mindanao. It made initial landfall over Surigao del Sur, then cross Mindanao and pass near Siquijor, Negros Oriental, and Palawan in the coming days. Stay alert. Stay prepared. Keep safe.
Instead of imposing solutions, sclr empowers communities to lead their own recovery.
At #RHPW2025, Doroteo T. Galavia shares how "hinabangay" drove post-Odette rebuilding.

After the Sept 30 earthquake and Typhoons Kalmaegi & Fung-wong, ECOWEB is on the ground in Cebu & Dinagat using the Survivor & Community-Led Response (SCLR) approach to support families facing overlapping crises. #sclr #CommunityLed
Through Appreciative Inquiry sessions, communities identify urgent needsโfood, shelter repair kits, water filters, solar lights & more. These spaces let survivors define priorities, recognize capacities, and lead their own recovery pathways.
In Dinagat, groups once devastated by Odette are now leading rapid response efforts. Empowered communities donโt just survive disastersโthey help others rise. ECOWEB will continue working with local leaders to ensure dignified, community-led recovery. #Resilience #sclr
