Given the renewed demonization of migrants and asylum seekers by the new administration, I remind you of my book on the mass shooting in El Paso, family separation, and resistance

The Onion, like two weeks ago
FBI have arrested a judge in Wisconsin on obstruction charges, claiming that she helped an undocumented immigrant evade arrest. This country is in a full blown authoritarian crisis.

This is so brilliant. The literacy rate in Pal❤️💚🖤 is 97.8%. The literacy rate in the U.S. is 79% (generously). LITERACY is the difference between a population fighting for their liberation vs. a population subjecting themselves to fas ci sm

It's really wild how politicians are taking off with a whole theory and motive to a crime when even Toronto police are like "hold your horses there bruh" In 2022, two kids were stabbed at a local school and not one politician said a thing. But those kids were Muslim, so yeah. 🤷🏽‍♀️

More people were killed by US Customs and Border Patrol in 2022 than died at the Berlin Wall in its entire 28-year existence.

📌 DEA, CBP, DHS, and all relevant congressional committees have found — U.S. citizens run drugs north and run guns south. More than 90% of all this traffic is by Americans. Now Mexico will be able to sue American gun companies:

Again, very troubling what is happening in Univision. Televisa. Que carajos está pasando? We deserve answers, transparency. #televisa #Univision
.@Univision, we are disappointed & have questions… In 2015, Trump kicked @jorgeramosnews out of a campaign event & never again granted them access. Suddenly, he’s sitting for a 1 hour interview that’s been described as “so soft it could be pillow-stuffing”. WTH is going on?

How can people still think anti-Zionism is anti-Semitism? Literally, Zionists primary response to pro-Palestine movements is violence, criminalization, racism, surveillance, deportation.. and more overt homophobia and transphobia.. while cheerleading colonialism & genocide.

Israeli historian and genocide scholar Raz Segal says Israeli leaders' dehumanizing language about Palestinians in Gaza and the IDF's conduct are cause for alarm. "We're seeing the combination of genocidal acts with special intent. This is indeed a textbook case of genocide."

Glaring error in @nytimes saying 245,000 migrant apprehensions occurred in in Starr County, where Biden's border wall will go up, when that number applies to the entire RGV Sector, a huge area encompassing 21 different counties. @esullivannyt, @colbiedmonds can you correct?
