We ought to be dealing with that now, but the administrators just want to claim they have high graduation rates so they push everybody through. DEI philosophy opposes standards carefully enforced. So you can see that we are in decline wherever trust or honesty is required or helpful. Now, if you inject AI into the picture, you will have a growing chaos unless you exert a real effort in the other direction. The notion of an essay for college admission is probably dead unless you have the person come to a secure location. You’ll have to keep cell phones out of exams. As for papers submitted as homework, how will you ever know that the student did anything at all?
