This PAHO document suggests that Canada has imported a case of Oropouche virus. There are likely more given our travel patterns.
"Imported cases have also been recorded in the United States (21 cases) and Canada (1 case), following travel to endemic countries."

Oropouche virus causes a dengue-like illness & is spreading in parts of South America & the Caribbean.
Infections have been detected in travellers returning to the U.S. & Europe. If cases haven't already been imported into 🇨🇦, they likely will be soon.
