i can admit that i jumped to conclusions yesterday after the pilot because what i saw completely gave me different vibes. that said, i'll be eagerly awaiting to see the story between the two until the day it airs; for now, my thoughts simply remain the same.
i don't want you to think i'm not happy for them, they are my babies and ofc i am happy. having a main role is a huge thing and i'm very happy and they deserve it.
i like ensemble series. the problem is that certain fandoms aren't normal and aren't at all ready (given the precedents) for how couples are handled within the series. i already see a lot of complaints; you're boring.
let me be clear: i get that is a queer story (thank god), directed by a queer person, by the way and i really like the plot and will definitely watch it. my problem is with the nhstoryline, which is vague, and i really want to hope it's not a b-word for all the reasons +
btw there's an underlying problem: all these b-word series that pop up every year piss me off, it means that unfortunately there's the audience that wants them, there's the audience that PREFERS these stories to queer ones, +
the problem is you who don't understand the damage these series do. even the actors who voluntarily decide to make them are part of the problem, but you still don't get it. the agency is at fault up to a certain point because if there's an audience that continues to support +
i don't want the vagueness they gave me, especially if i'm watching a queer story directed by a queer person… it would be weird to make them become a b- word cp in a story like that (that's what i hope at least)
