Indianapolis cars put on a great show. I think this is the first time I've ever been to Markham. This was my favourite view of the track. 馃殕馃弫
My brother used to put me in a sharpshooter and play SEGA and I would be hollering and my mother would get mad at me for being loud.

I think the "bare minimum" isn't even the right phrasing. Your pay reflects the maximum you should be reasonably expected to work for. Anything after costs more, or is a choice based on a wide variety of factors.

People don't seem to get how hard it is to outrun cars on a motorcycle. Going fast on two wheels is physically exhausting. Doing it in a car is relaxing as hell. You can chase some asshole on a Hayabusa all day long and not break a sweat, because every turn he's taking is physically demanding from his nose to his toes.

Even without the novelization, the last twenty minutes of the film consist of a messianic spoiled brat losing his arms and legs and lying deep-fried on the lip of a volcano, only to be outfitted with a mechanized hair shirt and made to a call a disfigured old creep "Master" for the rest of his life. Redemption, when it finally comes, lasts just long enough for him to be able to admit everything was a colossal waste of time to his nepo baby before he croaks from electrocution. The greatest Byronic saga in American mass culture and they're turning it into Chud Harold's Pilgrimage.
There are few things I love more than space travel, but if anyone tells you it will involve terraforming Mars, just consider them the dumbest person imaginable.

this is your yearly reminder that Mark C. Lee brought a picture of a cow aboard STS-30 to remind him of home (he grew up on a farm in Wisconsin), resulting in this gem of a photo
