I yearn to live in an America where a strong powerful hijabi woman is cheered on stage instead of being booed. Whatever happens tomorrow, I am fucking proud of both of you, and the tireless work you have done for Michiganders and Americans. God Speed Dr. #DrAbdulElSayed and Dr. Sarah Jukaku.

Stay safe folks. Friendly reminder. I fought to stop DeSantis from using emergency disaster relief funds for political stunts like Alligator Alcatraz. Ashley Moody allowed it. I raised the alarm and organized around the 50% cuts to FEMA. Ashley Moody was silent. We purchased beds, donated money, supplies and food to hurricane survivors. Moody, while Attorney General turned the other way when insurance companies, her donors, denied claims to rebuild homes. Vote accordingly.

On this Election Day, we must vote to hold Donald Trump and his corrupt administration accountable. We must end Republican control over the Senate and House. Please get out and vote — and make sure your friends do as well.

It is going to be something beautifully poetic that the man who is coming to take Senator Tom Harkin’s seat back is only there because of the work he did on the Americans with Disabilities Act. We have 1 day left to make it happen, Iowa. Let’s do this!

Scott, you flew to Minnesota to announce $41 million in alleged Medicaid fraud. Good. Investigate and prosecute it. Then KARE 11 asked why DHS paid $495.6 million for a prison CoreCivic offered Minnesota for $75 million in 2025. That's a $420.6 million price gap, roughly ten times the alleged fraud you came to condemn. CoreCivic says independent appraisers used replacement costs. Fine. Release their work, the negotiations, and every approval. Especially since CoreCivic donated $500,000 to Trump's inauguration. Instead, you called the question “a waste of time.” So $41 million gets a press conference. $420 million gets a shrug. That's quite a selective war on waste.
Q: If the administration has declared war on waste and fraud, can you explain the $420 million overpayment for a prison in Appleton, Minnesota, when the company offered it to the state of Minnesota for $75 million? BESSENT: That question is a waste of time.

Generations of Americans have fought and died for the right to vote. Tomorrow, let us honor their legacy.
Medgar Evers was killed in his driveway because he refused to accept a Mississippi where some were denied the right to vote. He stood with thousands who marched, organized and sacrificed so future generations could have a voice. We owe it to them not to take that right for granted. On Tuesday, honor their legacy. Vote.

Kelly: Trump went through life as a guy who avoided Vietnam. He didn’t want to serve. He doesn’t understand service. He’s intimidated by people who served. So he wants to project this tough-guy image and just go around dropping bombs on things at every opportunity. And I think with Hegseth, it’s something different. He seems to operate as a secretary of defense as you would expect a junior officer might. He cares about those kinds of things, how people look, beards, uniforms, gym shorts. And then, to project his tough-guy image, he runs around on a stage and talks about maximum lethality. So I think you have insecurity in both of them for different reasons. The result is dead Americans, a lot of dead Iranians, 800 injured Americans, tens of billions of dollars wasted. And what did the American people get out of this? They got higher prices, and now they can’t afford to put gas in their car. And half of the country is having a hard time affording food because the president and the secretary of defense are clueless, have no idea what they’re doing.

I’ll try to keep this short… At this point when I hear someone say they don’t plan to vote, it seriously makes me question what kind of person they are. It’s hard to respect people who watch people suffer in THIS country and decide they have no obligation to do anything about it. Black Americans were forced to pay poll taxes, pass literacy tests, and risk their livelihoods and lives just to exercise their right to vote. Eat or vote because you can’t do both. And they still showed up. And f*ck the single-issue excuses. Sitting out solves nothing, but showing up and being part of the collective could help end this mess.

Since you endorsed Mike Rogers, El-Sayed has gone up 4 points in the polls. Would you consider endorsing Ken Paxton and Roger Marshall? There are some other ones that come to mind. I’m happy to send you a list.
