The Poland shooting is disturbing because it shakes a feeling of safety and security. I hope the authorities reestablish order. Sending prayers to those with lost lives and thinking of their families.

We won’t let Trump walk away from the region without paying a price & reparations. Every mistake will be met with a decisive response until we liberate America’s largest military base, the Zionist regime, once and for all.

virtually every democrat regardless of faction ran against the establishment, if they do not deliver tangible & immediate changes inside the party like appointing dynamic leaders that will echo the fighting spirit the moment requires, we will lose the momentum - voters will see this as a betrayal. no amount of msm narratives around schumer's tactical prowess will change this. there's a reason why both hakeem & chuck are unpopular among dem voters. we didn't forget how they maneuvered around the last two years. we also have to destroy the seniority structure in the party & appoint competent people to the right committees!! zohran proved that a young dynamic figure can reshape the entire political landscape! i am very worried that "insider politics" and corporate focused leadership decisions is going to take us back to business as usual politics when we voted for CHANGE. we voted for a FIGHT. we voted for ACCOUNTABILITY.

An interesting detail has emerged from Iranian Ambassador to Russia Kazem Jalali’s account of the meeting between Putin and Mohsen Rezaei. - According to Jalali, Russia condemned the IAEA’s discriminatory treatment of Iran. However, when the possibility of Tehran withdrawing from the NPT was discussed, he noted that major powers have their own reservations and exercise caution, as part of their international influence rests on the existing institutional framework. - This distinction looks significant. Moscow may share Tehran’s criticism of the IAEA, but it has little interest in seeing the international nuclear non-proliferation framework further weakened. - Jalali’s remarks suggest that Russia is not necessarily prepared to support Iran should it decide to leave the NPT, a position that has also surfaced on previous occasions. They also point to a potential divergence between Tehran and Moscow over how far the confrontation with the IAEA should go. #Iran

While European and Asian consumers are now paying north of $30 per million British thermal unit for their gas, US buyers pay around $3 per mBtu. Canadian costs are even lower, at about $1.5 per mBtu. This is a phenomenal competitive advantage for Canadian energy intensive industry, and for attracting AI investment. (But has been minimized by industrial carbon taxes and the Clean Electricity Regulations) bloomberg.com/opinion/articl…

Anti-Data Centre sentiment is rising. According to Grok (below), this is just anti-data centre sentiment from X but tied to real-world action. The opposition in Canada and the United States of America is from NIMBY (not in my backyard) all local and organized haphazardly. The interesting takeaway is that the opposition in Canada is from wealthier progressives and lower-income or rural conservatives in the USA. The sentiment is organic, but the amplification is foreign, by state media and affiliates of China and Russia. CAN: A coordinated national day of protest occurred in late June 2026 across roughly a dozen cities in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and New Brunswick. Primarily local residents and neighbourhood groups (transparency projects, ā€œNo Data Centresā€¦ā€ campaigns). Environmental and water-focused voices (Maude Barlow has amplified Ontario mapping of hyperscaler water demand; National Observer and climate-oriented outlets cover it heavily). Some Indigenous rights framing, especially Treaty land and consultation questions in the Prairies (SK ā€œNo Data Centres on Treaty Landā€; mixed First Nations economic-development partnerships elsewhere). Left-leaning political actors (NDP, Greens) and local progressive organizers are more visible than a large conservative populist equivalent to the US Humans First group. US: Local residents across ~42–49 states form the core. Polls (Gallup, others) show ~70% opposition to data centers near homes; only ~14% support one in their community. Concerns are concrete: water use (especially arid Southwest/Utah projects), rising power bills, noise, land use, and lack of local benefit. Key wider groups: Friends of the Earth branches (Ireland, Scotland, UK, Europe), Greenpeace, Extinction Rebellion (NL, Bristol, Scotland), Global Action Plan, local resident campaigns.

NEW: US officials are presenting a list of topics, including security guarantees and European security architecture, for upcoming negotiations to end the war in Ukraine, as issues that the United States, Europe, Ukraine, and Russia agree to discuss. Russia’s frequently reiterated positions on these topics, however, remain incompatible with the official positions and interests of the United States, Ukraine, and Europe.
