Fox: Why are you here this morning? Trump rally attendee: Well, in the late 70s, I was a little too young to go to South America for the Jonestown Massacre. But this is as close as I'll ever get, so that's why I'm here. There's nothing like seeing a cult right up front.

"But Israel is a democracy!" Exactly. That's the problem. People keep reminding me that Israel is a democracy, as if that should end the argument. It doesn't. If anything, it's why my sympathy is running out. Think of Stalin or Putin. When those regimes attacked their neighbours and committed atrocities, many of us never stopped sympathising with ordinary Russians, because they were victims of the regimes too, being sent to the gulags or the front against their will. A democracy doesn't get that alibi. When a government is freely elected, when the press is free to criticise it, and when the opposition could stand against the war but instead cheers it on, the crimes no longer belong to a regime. They belong to the society that chose them. So whoever came up with "Israel is a democracy" as a defence should have thought harder. The line that would actually earn sympathy is the opposite one: that ordinary Israelis are trapped under a regime that crushes dissent. "We chose this, freely" is not the defence they think it is.

Great tips from Brazil on how they turned things around for Lula online and offline: 1. Don’t ever engage, block far-right accounts immediately. 2. Don't debunk, focus on making new content on your platform. 3. Use all the tools at your disposal. 4. Be equally online and offline.

Gaza kids and families are being starved desperately fetching food and supplies. Most families rely on free food distribution centres which don’t provide them with the nutritions their bodies need. The winter is also coming. It’s terrifying beyond words.

Regardless of which war criminal becomes prime minister, Palestinians living under Israeli apartheid will continue to face genocide, land theft, and erasure. We cannot accept lies, excuses, or half-measures from our leaders. We must impose a full arms embargo and sanctions until Palestine is free.

As the genocide in Palestine continues and violence intensifies across the West Bank, the call for an arms embargo has never been more critical. DSA is proposing a total embargo that extends beyond just arms shipments. Join us on 10/29 for our launch - go.dsausa.org/arms-embargo-l…

The green light for this Zionist evil was when @ed_miliband assured the genocidal British-created occupation entity that his “sanctions” would be empty and meaningless and recommitted to its “security.”
This is what collective punishment looks like: Israeli forces are putting Hebron on lockdown – displacing families, levelling homes and cutting families off from the rest of the occupied West Bank. It comes after 2 Palestinians fired at a military checkpoint in the occupied West Bank, killing 2 Israeli soldiers. #WestBank #IsraeliOccupation #Palestinians #Palestine #IsraeliForces

Went on BBC Politics Live to discuss why Zionism is a racist ideology. The anchor and all three panelists looked like they were about to cry at the end. Very weird behaviour. Join the Green Party.

Protective presence is good but when that fails, Palestinians need to be able to defend themselves. Very important that @bradlander make this point explicitly, and then take steps to divest from the state that’s backing the terrorists.
I'm in the West Bank this week as part of the “Protect the Harvest” coalition along with @israelispeaceny, @ucpinpalestine & Protect the Harvest, which is bringing people together from around the world to help Palestinian farmers harvest olives in the face of state-sanctioned settler terrorism. Our goals for the trip are to help protect the olive harvest — and to shed a light on the reality of the occupation. To ensure that international solidarity goes beyond the harvest, to become a sustained commitment to protecting Palestinian communities from settler violence, forced displacement, and the ongoing threats to their right to remain on their land. And, speedily and in our day, to secure human rights, safety, equality & freedom for both Palestinians and Israelis. Thankfully, our corner of today's harvest was peaceful and successful. But violence unfortunately is never far away. We’ll keep you posted on our efforts this week, especially the stories we hear from Palestinians on the ground. Protect the Harvest.

The commander of the Israeli military unit likely responsible for killing 5-year-old Hind Rajab is currently in the U.S. As a party to the Genocide Convention and the Geneva Conventions, our government is obligated to arrest and investigate him for these war crimes and acts of genocide. I stand with @HindRFoundation in calling on the DOJ to follow the law and take action.
🇺🇸🚨 The #HindRajabFoundation has filed an urgent request with the U.S. Department of Justice, demanding the immediate investigation, arrest, and prosecution of Sean Glass, currently present in the United States. Glass commanded the Israeli unit implicated in Hind Rajab's murder. HRF's investigation places the 52nd Battalion—including Glass and his Vampire Empire Company—near her vehicle during the killing. Today, Glass walks free in the U.S. ➡️ More → bit.ly/4iv2Zio

You know what is really, truly funny about Turkey, Pakistan, and now Egypt going to war with the Axis of Resistance? You know what is really really funny about that? I'll tell you: for 3 years, whoring establishment accounts from the Arab world have told us 'What do you want us to do? Do you want us to go to war?' when we said Arab countries must do SOMETHING to save Gaza. For 3 years that was the unchanging tune: they were terribly frightened of the potential of war. For Gaza, they were pacifists (no one asked an Arab country to go to war with Israel; we just demanded they cut ties and make the collective Arab anger heard and felt). But now - here's the kicker - those very countries will actually go to war but not against Israel, but FOR Israel. And this is freaking hilarious, not only because of the screaming hypocrisy (which we always knew was there), but also because this mobilization for Zionism is going to prove the straw that broke the camel's back and finally thoroughly destabilize the Zionist-Western brothel in Arab lands, from Egypt to Morocco. Are we going to enjoy this? Oh, so much fucking yes. A million times more yes than all the oil Trump imagines he has under his control and made the West rich at the expense of the rest of humanity
