Sad to hear that @JoshuaBaer died in the Laredo jet crash.
He made the life-changing intro that resulted in us exiting our company.
He wasn't an investor. He was a friend who invested his time and attention in the entrepreneurs of Texas and we're all better off for it.

RIP Josh Baer
For ten years of my life I ran a company that would not have succeeded without Josh.
He gave us space, supported our founders, and put in a good word for us to anyone who would listen. He was one of the first people to take us seriously, and his co-sign opened doors for us.
Some the best things that ever happened to me grew out of bumping in to great people at Capital Factory, the place he built.
Austin would not be what it is without him.
You will be missed, Josh

"AI will automate your job" i'd like to see AI hop on a quick call with key stakeholders, foster cross-functional collaboration via strategic partnerships, facilitate organizational grabbing of low-hanging fruit across key initiates, and shift paradigms with seamless integration

i regret to inform you that personal growth rarely comes from acquiring new knowledge and almost always from:
- getting humiliated
- showing up terrified and doing it anyway
- admitting you might be the problem

Remote work doesn't thwart productivity. It boosts focus.
Data: Government workers are 12% more productive when randomly assigned to work from home. They're more efficient where it's quiet.
Most people aren't shirking from home. They're escaping distractions and long commutes.
