Rainmaker has raised $100M to become the world’s best lab for weather modification and atmospheric science.
Thank you @noavctech @upfrontvc @DCVC @lowercarbon @DreamVenturesVC and other visionary partners.
We are aggressively hiring and scaling our research org to create a flywheel of atmospheric data collection, synthesis, understanding, and intervention.
We will solve the weather and we will set the stage for the terraformation of Earth.
More in my essay below.
I am now in the big apple if any cool people want to grab coffee or something before I return to my frozen backwoods.

250 years ago, a small group built something the world had never seen: America. 🇺🇸
That spirit never died. In 2002, @elonmusk moved into a warehouse in El Segundo and proved Americans could still build the impossible.
A generation of companies was born from that building. They're still being built here today.
If you're building something your family and your country will be proud of, come to the Gundo and build what you need to. Apply for the Fall Cohort below.
Deadline July 17th.

Technological innovation can be a form of participation in the divine act of creation. It carries an ethical and spiritual weight, for every design choice expresses a vision of humanity. The Church therefore calls all builders of #AI to cultivate moral discernment as a fundamental part of their work—to develop systems that reflect justice, solidarity, and a genuine reverence for life.

The world needs honest and courageous entrepreneurs and communicators who care for the common good. We sometimes hear the saying: “Business is business!” In reality, it is not so. No one is absorbed by an organization to the point of becoming a mere cog or a simple function. Nor can there be true humanism without a critical sense, without the courage to ask questions: "Where are we going? For whom and for what are we working? How are we making the world a better place?"

The best founders = founders who have founder x market fit
That's why we invested in @joerainey who was surveying and building his own construction projects before starting @Structionai
@elliot_fp & team who won mine blast competitions before starting @watoga_tech
@danvataj who was obsessed with distribution & deliverability before starting @sentdm
& many others obsessed with solving problems they have directly experienced
