Thought provoking article, as a military clinician I agree with the sentiments on improving opportunities for uniformed medical staff to maintain skills and provide healthcare outside of traditional force preservation roles. cove.army.gov.au/article/unt…
I got to try out the Rocky Rehab treadmill yesterday during my visit to Camp Pendleton #SportsMed. We are kicking off our study assessing the use of this intervention as an augment to rehabilitation care for ankle sprain in military #tacticalathletes. It was challenging!

#DunningKruger as I complete an assignment that sees me halfway through a Masters of Applied Clinical Epidemiology in Sports this statement rings so true. Performance and Health r/ship is more complex than is acknowledged 🏋🏻‍♀️🥗😴
Expressing doubt doesn't always mean you lack confidence. It might be that you see nuance. The presence of certainty can signal the absence of complexity. Conviction can crowd out careful consideration. The person who talks tentatively has often done the deepest reflection.

To achieve optimal performance you need to ensure health and wellbeing is addressed. In Army terms, we should be focusing on preserving the force- so we can then enhance the force.
To achieve sustained performance and success in sport, wellbeing must be prioritised. The AIS has introduced the Wellbeing Health Check, to identify how successfully HP sports have integrated wellbeing initiatives and services into their programs. 👉 bit.ly/3hYzIwQ

#AusArmy people are the driving force in moving our Army forward. Changes to Army’s C2 will ensure we are simplifying our training systems, recognising the pre-existing skills and qualifications to deliver more effective and efficient learning. Watch buff.ly/3lMeWle

This is part of optimising human performance, understanding differences between women and men. "data and analysis gleaned from the study were able to help her understand how she should adjust her nutrition to better support her energy levels"
