RIP Keigo Higashino, prolific author of mystery and suspense. "The Devotion of Suspect X," one of his Detective Galileo series, is masterful. Many of his books remain to be translated into English.
I’m so excited about this!!! theguardian.com/books/2026/j…

I’ve just had some exciting news about The Urbex Trip! Watch this space 😚 #WritingCommunity #TUT
I loved the original Until Dawn and am so excited to play this!
From the trailer, it seems very similar vibes to my novel THE URBEX TRIP. "Akishima Resort" makes me wonder if it is set in Japan somewhere. TUT is set on Okinawa in an abandoned resort where a group of urban explorers get trapped by supernatural forces. youtu.be/QpVZ9OvRLZI?si=1sa9…

Rest in peace, Koji Suzuki. Ring was a big influence on The Urbex Trip. If you’ve not read the Ring tetralogy or Dark Water, I recommend them.

Out today!
My first book baby, THE URBEX TRIP, releases next week. I don’t have the spoons or tools to promote it in any way that would move the needle on sales but I hope it will reach and entertain more than a few people. Those who like books set in Japan, coming of age stuff and horror😌
50 people have added THE URBEX TRIP to their “want to reads” on Goodreads! My “big” goal was 100 by the release date of April 21 but I’m so pleased to have gotten 50! Thank you to those who added 😍😍😍 goodreads.com/book/show/2328… #writingcommunity #2026debutauthors
