Big news today: my substack Rethinking Fertility is HERE and I’m not pulling any punches.
It’s been a wild ride these last few years, and I can’t wait to share it all with you as we build a movement of men and women rethinking their fertility.

Pastors, listen to this short podcast from @emlwaters on infertility to be up-to-speed on the latest in infertility care and facts from a prolife perspective before you inevitably have to provide pastoral care to a couple experiencing infertility. youtu.be/Fq9TeYKYqxA?is=ZJ9I…
💯💯💯 even when it’s not the topic of the talk, Q&A disproportionately turns toward the same questions especially among younger men and women.
I was asked to give a lecture next week at a church in Minnesota on what I see as the most pressing issues facing Christians. Here's my rundown I'm working on for my lecture.
— The beginning of life: Reproduction and human dignity.
— The manufacture of life: Genetic engineering and designer children.
— The simulation of life: Artificial intelligence and digital personhood.
— The enhancement of life: Transhumanism and human augmentation.
— The embodiment of life: Biological sex and bodily identity.
— The commodification of life: Surrogacy and reproductive markets.
— The manipulation of life: Surveillance, algorithms, and human agency.
— The extension of life: Longevity and the pursuit of immortality.
— The quality of life: Disability, dependency, and the meaning of dignity.
— The end of life: Assisted suicide and euthanasia.
In a word: bioethics.
The central moral question of our age is increasingly whether human nature is a gift to be received, enhanced beyond our native capacities, or a problem to be solved.
Christians need to be prepared to answer it. I am confident that our doctrine of the imago Dei, coupled with the Christian natural law tradition, provides a sufficient basis and bulwark to guide civilization, if civilization will entertain them.
It’s not too late to order the book + miniature set for Christmas 😉

What if adoption was never meant to be the “fix” for infertility?
Infertility is a loss that deserves to be grieved. Adoption is a calling to meet a child’s needs; it's for them. Treating it as the cure for infertility risks making a child the answer to an adult’s problem.
woah. this does not bode well for MAHA...
Two weeks from the midterms, and MAHA just suffered a major blow. One of the movement’s fiercest advocates and most influential voices, Calley Means, second only to RFK himself, is OUT. And the reason behind his departure should be setting off alarm bells for everyone who cares about the future of our children’s health.
You should know that Calley is literally the Godfather of the MAHA movement and worked TIRELESSLY to fight for us. We owe him so much thanks.
If you read that article it lays out the reason why perfectly. An issue I have been screaming about since summer 2025: crony capitalism and corporate capture are compromising what could be an incredible and near flawless administration. Not to mention a once in a generation opportunity to completely change the trajectory of children’s health.
But we can’t even get healthier food in school lunches or an honest definition about what ultra processed food is because Food Companies call the White House and complain. If I were Calley, I would’ve left too.
This same corporate capture is why this admin defended Bayer in the Supreme Court, wrote the glyphosate exec order, and why Dr. Marty Makary left because Big Tobacco was calling and asking for favors he didn’t feel comfortable green lighting.
TLDR: We have very few left with integrity in the White House. We need to let it be known clearly and loudly how much this matters to us.
End corporate capture.
Put children first.

Update! Thanks to @publicroad’s reporting in the @nytimes, we have a clear explanation for Austen’s clickbait article on Elisabeth Eliot:
Update! I have received a thoughtful note today from @CTmagazine's Erik Petrik, emphasizing that the temporary disappearance of my article “was not an issue of” of my “reporting, writing, or point of view.” I can't say how much I appreciate this.

What if infertility isn't a disease, but a symptom?
Restorative Reproductive Medicine (RRM) addresses underlying health causes rather than simply bypassing them.
Moreover, success rates can rival IVF at a fraction of the cost.

Story time. When I was the Special Assistant for Global Women’s Health during Trump I, we fought for optimal women’s health throughout the lifespan, recognizing abortion is not healthcare and that when we reduce “women’s health” to abortion, women suffer.
When the Biden Admin took back over in 2021, they quickly transformed our work into a White House Gender Policy Council (couldn’t even say the word “woman” lol) that fell back on the women’s health status quo: expanded access to contraception and abortion (plus LGBTQ activism), all across the globe.
I called then for conservatives to step back into the women’s health arena, which had long been ceded to the left. I couldn’t be more excited to see @FLOTUS, @POTUS, @SusieWiles47, and @SecKennedy doing just that. I wrote for the @realDailyWire about it today:
“Where the Left has long conflated “women’s health care” with expanded access to contraception and abortion, conservatives are ushering in a golden age of AI-fueled discovery.”

As Assistant Secretary for Health, with oversight of the Office on Women’s Health, I am honored to join President Trump and some of our nation’s leading minds in women’s health for today’s signing of the Executive Order, “Advancing Women’s Health to Improve Outcomes in All Phases of Life.”
I remain committed to reducing chronic illness, advancing innovation, and improving health for every American woman.

First Lady Melania Trump’s 5 PILLARS OF WOMENS HEALTH INNOVATION //
1. Direct research funding towards finding cures that affect women in a disproportionate and unique way.
2. Use super intelligence to enhance our insight of female biology and speed up medical discoveries.
3. Accelerate the process of getting promising therapeutics from laboratories to female patients, while maintaining strict safety standards.
4. Ensure that medical breakthroughs are accessible and affordable to women, regardless of their financial circumstances.
5. Replace generations of silence with open conversation, education, and compassion surrounding women’s health.
NEW: "An executive order, Advancing Women’s Health to Improve Outcomes in All Phases of Life, ...directs the HHS to establish a new Women’s Health Division within the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to strengthen scientific research, accelerate medical breakthroughs, and improve health outcomes for American women and girls." 🔥

This woman literally wrote these words about Elisabeth Elliot: "There should be nothing shocking or scandalous about the mere discovery that Elliot was attracted to women as well as men."
She based her assertion on claims made by an 88 year-old lesbian (a lesbian who'd spent decades trying to usher feminism and homosexuality into Christianity) which were then published by a homosexual "pastor." She calls this "carefully fact-checked."
Yet she pretends she's the one being wronged somehow by Christianity Today taking the article down. 🤦🏻♀️
I still have not heard from @CTmagazine about why my carefully fact-checked article has been removed, apparently in contradiction of their corrections policy: brand.christianitytoday.com/…
