The Home Parenteral Nutrition Crisis Response team win the Collaborative Working award for their work to support patients. The aseptic unit were also recognised for preparing 700 additional feeds, ensuring patients were kept safe in their own homes.

We really have to stop normalising missed lunches and working unpaid hours in 2020.
We need to stop praising pharmacists for missing lunches and praising this behaviour like it’s a quality.
It undervalues a mental break that is needed for patient safety and mental performance.

Great news from Europe(!). Our new robotic compounding unit has passed Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) in Ancona, Italy. "Gino" will arrive @LeedsHospitals in Feb for more testing. He'll make batches of IV antibiotics to support our busy nurses #excited #1stinUK @LTHPharmacy

Back in 1999, I was a newly qualified Pharmacist at @AiredaleNHSFT. Emily was our "Saturday student". This Xmas, we're back together as the most senior pcists in one of the most comprehensive Aseptic services in the NHS 😲. We're now the "sensible ones" 😂 ikr? @LTHPharmacy
