Microsoft just told the government that it laid off a bunch of Americans to replace them with H1B Indians and they still got 99.7% of their visa applications approved.
What the actual fuck is DHS and Mullin doing? Fire him immediately.
MICROSOFT GOT 1,504 PERM GREEN CARD CERTIFICATIONS IN NINE MONTHS WITH A 99.73% APPROVAL RATE
From Oct 2025 to Jun 2026, only 4 of Microsoft's PERM cases were denied.
On 1,470 decided cases, Microsoft checked yes: it had a layoff in that area and occupation within six months.
On July 6, Xbox announced 3,200 cuts, 1,600 of them right away. Weeks later JobsNow posted a San Francisco Chronicle print ad for an Activision Blizzard Media senior staff software engineer paying $241,800 to $321,060, telling applicants to mail resumes to a street address.
On Oct 8, the Labor Department suspended Microsoft from PERM indefinitely, citing active federal investigations.
Microsoft says most of its US staff are Americans and 80% of its H-1B filings were for existing employees (since “temporary” actually means forever in this program).
We must close all of these revolving door, rubber stamp programs. We will not stop being loud regardless of which party controls the government.

The "you only have yourselves to blame" comment is a continuation and acceleration in what has been a noticeable change in the president's tone toward the American People, even his own voters.
It saddens me to see, because I believe he started his journey in politics from an earnest place wanting to help the people of this country. I remember his CPAC speech before he announced back in 2015 and I saw a man with sincere concern for the future of this country.
Now, we routinely see and hear frustration, and something that irrefutably passes for contempt. Believe me when I tell you, voters saw it too.
I have been pointing it out and speaking about this since the first time it reared up—when he fired off "I don't want your support anymore". That was followed up repeatedly with "MIGA" posts in the face of supporter worries that he was being distracted by the war lobby before Operation Midnight Hammer.
It was reinforced with comments like "Americans have no talent" in his interview with @IngrahamAngle, who looked just as stunned to hear it because she almost certainly remembers the man I do.
And that was a man who cared deeply for his country and the people in it, not just those who supported him.
I know it. I've seen it, and because being genuine is so rare in this business, especially at that level, it was hard to miss.
But that has not been the case this entire second administration, and voters saw it. Contrary to popular belief in the world of politics, voters collectively are NOT stupid. They saw it. They heard it. They felt it.
Last Tuesday, they rejected it along with the rest. It's just so sad to see it come to this and tragic his advisors either don't care enough about him or don't have the spine to confront it, even though that IS their job.

You got to give Ben Shapiro & Mark Levin credit.
They were never Trumpers who tried to stop MAGA in 2016.
They then co-opted MAGA & tricked Trump into war with Iran.
They then completely tanked MAGA & gave Democrats a landslide.
All while smirking & denying responsibility.
This is because @POTUS is a closet Democrat. Always has been. He doesn’t want the GOP to win
South Carolina flipped to the Democrats because Trump endorsed a Republican candidate who had no qualifications, no experience, no political skills, no resume at all, and whose only pitch to the voters was "I'm the sister of Lindsay Graham." Just a staggeringly idiotic strategy that failed exactly as any reasonable person knew that it would.

Every GOP strategist, consultant, and candidate should be forced to participate in a role-playing exercise this morning.
Your name is Bob. You’re a 49-year-old blue-collar worker in Ohio. You’ve always struggled to make ends meet. The good jobs were all shipped to China and the few remaining pay a pittance wage, undercut by endless illegal labor.
You’re a 3x Trump voter because you believed he would finally make America great again.
You put your son through Ohio State. He graduated cum laude in computer science. You couldn’t have been prouder. After months searching, he landed an entry-level job at Microsoft. Beneath his qualifications, but a good start for a smart kid.
Then he got laid off. That same month, Microsoft applied for 150,000 more H-1B visas because it can’t find qualified Americans.
Your son has spent six months back in his childhood bedroom, sending hundreds of applications without landing an interview.
On TV, Trump boasts about the greatest economy in history and how many women and minorities are finding jobs.
You decide a father-son steak night might cheer him up.
Gas is $4.50 a gallon. Filling your truck costs over $100. At Kroger, ribeyes are $30/lb. You settle for hamburger, even though 70/30 ground beef still costs $10+.
At checkout, a fat black woman is screaming at the cashier because her EBT will only cover most of the filet mignon and lobster in her cart.
You think to yourself how the Iran war has made everything expensive, but at least we’re stopping their nuclear bomb. You weren’t even sure where Iran was before you googled it after we first bombed them in March.
After dinner, you take your son to the county fair. Half the people aren’t speaking English. Virtually none of the crowd looks like you. You’re forced to leave early after a “teen takeover” turns violent. A foreign born judge pledges none of them will go to jail.
Back home, you turn on the TV. Vivek Ramaswamy is lecturing the crowd about American mediocrity and why Ohio needs more foreign talent.
Your son grows upset. You change the channel.
Now a Republican surrogate, the daughter of a governor or wife of an elderly billionaire, explains that young White men are the REAL welfare queens. They’d rather play videogames in their parents’ basements than work.
Your son says nothing. He just goes back to his childhood bedroom. You turn off the TV.
Then your neighbor starts blasting reggaeton and cracking open Modelos. He brought his cousin’s family from Mexico to help with all the minority-business contracts his construction firm keeps winning. Tonight they’re celebrating his nephew’s birth, the family’s first birthright American citizen.
You sit alone in your living room.
You worked hard, paid taxes, obeyed the law, and raised your son to do everything right. You voted Republican again and again because you believed somebody in Washington would finally fight for you.
Instead, your wages are stagnant. Groceries are unaffordable. Your community is unrecognizable. Your country is fighting another foreign war.
And upstairs, the son you sacrificed everything for is lying awake in the bedroom he slept in at twelve, wondering what the heck he’s even supposed to do with his life now.
Every time you turn on the TV, the Republicans you elected are either congratulating themselves or explaining why you and your son are the problem.
For ten years, they told you America’s future depended on your vote. Now you aren’t even sure America has a future worth defending.
The Republican Party needs to answer one simple question this morning:
You’ve spent a decade demanding Bob’s loyalty. You’ve given him stagnant wages, unaffordable groceries, another foreign war, and a son who did everything right but can’t find work.
And when they complain, you call them lazy, entitled, and racist.
What possible reason have you given Bob and his son to vote Republican? Do you honestly think you deserve their vote?

Want to know why I'm angry at @realDonaldTrump? So @NewYorker just ran a piece about how DC Republicans are running for the exits. And amid all the sneering was this quote:
"We took over and we just kind of fucking botched it. The Democrats didn’t create some bullshit. We had a generational opportunity and we basically squandered it. Look at the coalition we had in 2024. Those people might not ever vote again in their lives."
Exactly.
Trump could have tried to KEEP the promises he made, to make the government fairer and leaner, make medical care more affordable (not just lard it with more subsidies), make housing easier to build, fight the bureaucracies that make every level of school far more expensive and inefficient than it should be, etc.
A lot of middle-class and lower-middle-class people really believed he would fight for them. And would he have won all those fights? No, of course not. But he would have made real progress - the Republicans controlled the White House and Congress. Instread he didn't even try. He concentrated on getting rich and ballrooms and the reflecting pool, the stupidest, vainest possible stuff, along with starting foreign wars, the one thing he'd promised he wouldn't do.
Now, two years later, all those people think the system is MORE corrupt, that Trump only cares about himself and getting richer and the billionaires who can help him to do it. And they're right to think so. They are angrier and more dispossessed than ever. And that's bad for the United States, bad for our future, bad for my kids and yours.
And it is one man's fault.
The old man was treated unfairly in 2016, when they tried to crown Hillary
2018, when they pretended he was a Russian spy
2020, when they pretended Covid was the plague
2024, when they prosecuted him for the crime of beating Hillary
But there’s nothing unfair about the ass-whipping he is about to take. He deserves every inch of it and more. This time around he has become the grifting incompetent doddering fool they said he was, he has leaned in to the caricature so far he’s fallen over and taken the Republican Party with him. I take no joy in writing this, I voted for him in 2024 and hoped for better. But the next two years will be brutal, and he has only himself and the thieving courtiers he installed around him to blame.
Happy Election Day, El Hombre Naranja

How do you spend the last 10 months telling your base that Visa fraud is rampant, turn around and approve 271,000 visas in 9 months and deny less than 3%?
Do you seriously expect me to believe that public universities sponsoring H-1Bs for assistant athletic coaches and parking assistants were all legit?
270,419 H-1B APPROVED IN 9 MONTHS. 97% ACCEPTANCE. ONLY 8,231 DENIED.
That is still an open door policy, guys.
USCIS approved 97% of the H-1B petitions it decided from October through June. And those totals are still growing. Another 156,404 petitions were pending on June 30.
Renewals are the backbone of this program. Only 86,346 approvals were for new employment. The other 184,073 went to workers already on an H-1B, covering renewals and job switches.
That is more than two renewals and transfers for every new hire.
Last year showed the same pattern. In FY2025, new approvals fell while continuing approvals rose 12.9% to 291,542. That was 72% of all approvals.
The cap fight gets the headlines. Renewals keep the workforce in place.

We did not apply for a ballot or deposit a ballot or attempt to vote.
We showed an elections official saying “you are the ID” and confirming one could vouch for eight others who were not there.
If that’s a crime, anyone who speaks with a polling official and asks questions is also committing a crime. Journalism is not a crime.
Minnesota law clearly states that no individual shall intentionally misrepresent the individual’s identity in applying for a ballot, depositing a ballot in a ballot box or attempting to vote by means of a voting machine or electronic voting system.

Capitalism didn't create your need to work to survive. Nature did.
An employer doesn't impose that necessity upon you. He offers you an opportunity to satisfy it through voluntary exchange.
Socialism doesn't eliminate the necessity of work. It merely transfers authority over production to politicians or the collective.
Under capitalism, you're free to change employers, negotiate wages, work for yourself, or establish a cooperative. None guarantees success, but the freedom exists.
And here's where your moral superiority becomes particularly ridiculous.
You condemn people for offering employment on terms others are free to reject, yet consider yourself morally entitled to dictate how they must use their property, run their businesses, and compensate others.
You call voluntary agreements exploitation while presenting coercion as compassion.
Your objection isn't that people are being forced to serve others. It's that they aren't being forced to serve others on your terms.
And somehow, you've convinced yourself that makes you the moral one.
After reading the replies to my original post, I've learned that some libertarians have a much bigger problem than their understanding of economics. Their complete lack of empathy is fucking astonishing.
I suggested that paying half your income in rent because the alternative is sleeping in a freezing car isn't exactly a wonderful example of economic freedom. The responses were an extraordinary collection of lectures about voluntary exchange, personal responsibility, property rights, and why homelessness is apparently just another consumer preference.
Here are the five most common arguments.
1. It's voluntary because nobody is forcing you.
Apparently, choosing between unaffordable rent and sleeping in your car is the expression of liberty. Sure, nobody is holding a gun to your head. But someone with $500 in the bank doesn't have the same bargaining power as someone with $10 million in property. A decision made under financial desperation is still a decision. That doesn't mean the person has meaningful economic freedom. If your definition of liberty includes celebrating someone's choice to freeze in their car, perhaps your philosophy needs some fucking work.
2. Just move, get roommates, buy a house, or sleep in your car.
This was my favorite. One person suggested getting a gym membership so you could sleep in your car and still shower. Others recommended second jobs, roommates, or simply buying a house. Fucking brilliant. But what happens when millions of households simultaneously move somewhere cheaper? Demand increases, and those locations become less affordable unless housing supply expands. What works for one individual doesn't necessarily work for everyone. It's called the fallacy of composition. An entire housing crisis cannot be solved by giving millions of people individual financial advice. Yet apparently, sleeping in a Toyota Corolla now constitutes a comprehensive economic policy.
3. Government regulations and central banks caused expensive housing.
This was actually a reasonable argument, at least initially. Restrictive zoning and excessive development regulations absolutely can contribute to expensive housing. But blaming government for every undesirable market outcome is just ideological laziness. Housing prices also depend on incomes, credit conditions, construction costs, land values, population growth, speculation, and investment expectations. Developers build when they expect sufficient profits, not simply because people need somewhere to live. Removing bad regulations can improve housing supply. It doesn't magically eliminate every other economic problem. An economy is an interconnected system, not a fucking supply-and-demand diagram.
4. The landlord provides a mutually beneficial service.
Several people argued that rental transactions must benefit both parties because otherwise they wouldn't happen. Yes, someone facing homelessness might prefer paying half their income in rent to sleeping outside. Congratulations. You've established that people prefer shelter to freezing. But that doesn't prove the housing market is competitive, affordable, or producing desirable outcomes. People routinely accept terrible arrangements because their alternatives are worse. Individual rationality doesn't guarantee desirable outcomes for society. The existence of a transaction isn't proof that the economic system is working particularly well.
5. You aren't entitled to someone else's property or labor.
And naturally, someone had to start screaming about communism. Apparently, suggesting that people shouldn't have to sleep in freezing cars is now revolutionary Marxism. I support private property, competitive markets, and private enterprise. But supporting capitalism doesn't require celebrating every outcome it produces. Property rights don't automatically guarantee affordable housing, economic efficiency, or an equitable distribution of resources. You can defend private property without treating human suffering as an acceptable demonstration of economic liberty.
Now, here's what genuinely disturbed me.
I expected arguments about economics. What I didn't expect was how enthusiastically some people recommended homelessness. Sleep in your car. Get a gym membership. Work three jobs. Move away. Stop complaining. These weren't hypothetical responses. People actually suggested these things. Imagine seeing someone struggling to afford shelter and immediately explaining why they should be grateful to their landlord. What kind of fucking worldview produces that reaction?
Markets are supposed to serve human beings. Human beings aren't supposed to suffer simply to validate someone's economic philosophy. I'm a supporter of free markets, but I don't believe that requires abandoning basic human empathy. The irony is that people who constantly preach individual liberty seem perfectly comfortable dismissing the economic circumstances that restrict it.
If your response to someone facing homelessness is to congratulate them on having the freedom to sleep in their fucking car, perhaps you've spent too much time defending capitalism and not enough time interacting with actual human beings.

Let me correct that statement. DeSantis gave them a good bill which covered everything that mattered. The RINO's in the FL legislature dropped the ball when they stripped many things out of the bill. The things that they stripped out are the things that their minions are now using to try and kill the bill off. This is a coordinated effort to keep the money flowing.
